Blaahaus Industrial Museum, Kiefersfelden

Description

Kiefersfelden, picturesquely situated in the Inn Valley at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser, combines stunning natural beauty with a fascinating history. What is now a climatic health resort was once a major industrial centre: for centuries, iron smelting, scythe-making, marble working and cement production shaped the town’s development.

At the Blaahaus, you can embark on an exciting journey through time and discover how Kiefersfelden developed from a predominantly agricultural village into a centre of supra-regional economic importance.
