Description

The Hotel zur Post is ideally located, in the quiet center of Rohrdorf, centrally in the middle of the Chiemsee-Alpenland region. Between the unspoiled landscape of the Chiemgau mountains and the Upper Bavarian Inn Valley. Conveniently located, only 900 meters from the A 8 freeway in the Munich-Salzburg-Innsbruck triangle.

Cozy, with a lot of wood designed parlors and cozy beer garden with old lime trees, newly renovated guest rooms. Our 113 cozy and comfortably furnished hotel rooms meet the highest standards. 

In the new guest house "Poststadl" 36 rooms with more than 30 m² have been created, with a lot of wood and warm colors, all rooms with balcony or terrace and 4-star comfort. There, a modern climate concept ensures comfort in every season. An ecologically valuable heating-cooling blanket ensures the individual desired temperature in each guest room.

All rooms are equipped with shower/bath, WC, TV, telephone. Thanks to the favorable location also ideally suited for celebrations and meetings. Suitable rooms in various sizes available, ample parking.

  • There is one marked parking space for people with disabilities (parking space size: 350 cm x 500 cm).
  • The bus stop "Kriegerdal Rohrdorf" is 120 m away.
  • The building is steplessly accessible via a ramp. The ramp has a maximum gradient of 20 %.
  • All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are steplessly accessible via an elevator. The elevator cabin measures 110 cm x 140 cm. The elevator door is 80 cm wide.
  • Almost all evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 80 cm wide.
  • The reception desk is 112 cm high at its lowest point. There is no equivalent communication possibility while in a sitting position.
  • There are wheelchair accessible tables in the dining room (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).
  • Aids offered: (wheeled) walker, mobile grab handles for the bathrooms

  • The maneuvering spaces are:
    • in front of essential immobile furnishings (e.g. wardrobe) 170 cm x 150 cm;
    • left of the bed 270 cm x 170 cm;
    • right of the bed 90 cm x 170 cm.
  • The bed is wheelchair accessible.
  • The bed is 52 cm high.
  • The maneuvering spaces in the bathroom are:
    • in front of/behind the door at 115 cm x 140 cm;
    • in front of the toilet 89 cm x 89 cm;
    • in front of the washbasin 140 cm x 115 cm;
    • left of the toilet 100 cm x 54 cm and right of the toilet 15 cm x 54 cm.
  • There are no handles on the right and left of the toilet (mobile handles for the bathrooms are available).
  • The washbasin is wheelchair accessible.
  • The mirror cannot be seen while sitting.
  • The shower is not steplessly accessible (treshold of 1 cm).
  • The maneuvering space in the shower is 80 cm x 80 cm.
  • A shower seat is available or can be provided if required.
  • There is a vertically mounted grab handle in the shower.
  • An alarm trigger (cord, button) is present.

Room No. 108

  • The maneuvering spaces are:
    • in front of essential immobile furnishings (e.g. wardrobe) 200 cm x 114 cm;
    • left of the bed 200 cm x 170 cm;
    • right of the bed 74 cm x 170 cm.
  • The bed is wheelchair accessible.
  • The bed is 54 cm high.
  • The maneuvering spaces in the bathroom are:
    • in front of/behind the door at 110 cm x 170 cm;
    • in front of the toilet 150 cm x 125 cm;
    • in front of the washbasin 170 cm x 136 cm;
    • left of the toilet 95 cm x 54 cm and right of the toilet 21 cm x 54 cm.
  • There are no handles on the right and left of the toilet (mobile handles for the bathrooms are available).
  • The washbasin has limited wheelchair access.
  • The mirror cannot be seen while sitting.
  • The shower is not steplessly accessible (treshold of 1 cm).
  • The maneuvering space in the shower is 80 cm x 80 cm.

Public toilet for people with disabilities

  • The maneuvering spaces are:
    • in front of/behind the door; in front of the toilet and in front of the washbasin at least 144 cm x 147 cm;
    • left of the toilet 44 cm x 71 cm and right of the toilet 120 cm x 71 cm.
  • There are handles on the right and left of the toilet. The handle on the right of the toilet can be folded up.
  • There is a handle on the left/right side of the toilet. The handle cannot be folded up.
  • The washbasin is wheelchair accessible.
  • The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • An alarm trigger (cord) is present.

  • Assistance dogs are allowed in relevant areas/rooms.
  • The entrance is visually rich in contrast, but not recognizable by a tactile change of floor covering.

  • There is a menu in large print, but none in Braille.

  • There is a seating area with low background noises (e.g. seating corner, separate room).
  • There is at least one electrical outlet available near the bed.
  • The ringing or knocking on the door is not indicated by a flashing signal which can be perceived in all rooms.
