The family-run Hotel & Restaurant Weinklause in Oberstdorf is the ideal place to recharge your batteries and enjoy a homey and friendly environment. Here you can not only eat well, but also be taken care of by nice people.

The hotel and restaurant is located in the south of Oberstdorf and is only a few minutes away from the town center. A bus stop right next to the hotel takes guests to all excursion destinations and yet it is quiet and centrally located here. It is the perfect place for an active and relaxing vacation.

The hotel offers 42 rooms in different categories, including 2 barrier-free comfort double rooms with couch corner and west balcony. The main building with restaurant, winter garden and garden terrace is completely barrier-free. Guests can enjoy regional Allgäu cuisine daily in the restaurant and there is a public barrier-free toilet for all guests.

  • There is one unmarked parking space for people with disabilities (parking space size: 350 cm x 500 cm).
  • The bus stop „Prinzenstraße“ is 60 m away.
  • The hotel is only accessible via a treshold of 2,5 cm.
  • All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are steplessly accessible or via elevator.
  • The elevator cabin measures 116 cm x 140 cm. 
  • All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide.
    Exceptions: The doors/passages in the wellness area and sauna are 77 cm - 81 cm wide. 
  • The reception desk is 109 cm high. There is another, equivalent communication possibility while in a sitting position.
  • There are wheelchair accessible tables available in the restaurant and in the wintergarden (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).

Room 31 (ground floor, double room) and room 110 (1st floor, double room) - identical in construction

  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of essential stationary furnishings (e.g. wardrobe) 107 cm x 150 cm;
    left of the bed 107 cm x 150 cm;
    right of the bed 115 cm x 156 cm.
  • The bed is 54 cm high.
  • The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
    in front of the toilet 174 cm x 160 cm;
    in front of the washbasin 135 cm x 175 cm;
    left of the toilet 42 cm x 55 cm and right of the toilet 96 cm x 55 cm.
  • There is a grab rail on the left side of the toilet. The grab rail can be flipped-up.
  • The sink has limited access and the mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • The shower is accessible without thresholds. The manoeuvring space in the shower is 123 cm x 129 cm. A shower seat is and grab rails are available.

Public toilet for people with disabilities (basement)

  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of/behind the door, in front of the toilet and the washbasin at least 150 cm x 150 cm;
    left and right of the toilet at least 90 cm x 70 cm.
  • There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet, which can be flipped-up.
  • The sink has limited access.
  • The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting. 
  • An alarm trigger is available.

  • Steps are not visually rich in contrast. 
  • Stairs have at least a handrail on one side.
  • There is no menu available in large print or braille
