Hotel and Inn "Sixt"

All test relevant areas meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility tested - partly barrier-free for people with walking disabilities".

Some information on accessibility are listed below. Detailed information can be found in the test report.

• General parking spaces are available. There are no parking spaces for people with disabilities. 
• In the Gasthof Sixt there is the reception, the Gaststube with hall and the WC for people with disabilities. The raised rooms 61 and 63 are located in Haus Lilie. The distance from the inn to Haus Lilie is 24 metres.
• The main entrance to the inn is accessible via three steps without a handrail, alternatively there is a 4 m long ramp with a 9 % incline. The usable walking width is 102 cm. The height of the door threshold is 3 cm. In the entrance area inside, a double-leaf swing door is available as a vestibule.
• Alternatively, two further entrances are available: Side entrance to the beer garden, accessible without steps (door threshold 2.5 cm); entrance at the drinks market, accessible without steps or thresholds (door opens automatically).
• The main entrance to Haus Lilie is accessible via a 12 cm high step (door threshold 1.5 cm). Alternatively, there is a 5 m long mobile ramp with a 15 % incline. The side entrance from the inner courtyard is only accessible via stairs.
• Access to the beer garden is via a 6 m long ramp with a 7 % incline.
• The reception counter is 95 cm to 112 cm high. There is an alternative communication option in a seated position.
• All passages/doors are at least 80 cm wide (exceptions: WC door in room 63 with 66 cm).
• All raised areas that can be used by guests are accessible without steps or via a ramp.
• There are wheelchair-accessible tables in the dining room, the hall and the beer garden.

Haus Lilie - Room 63 with shower / toilet, ground floor

• Doors are at least 82 cm wide.
• Door thresholds are a maximum of 4.5 cm high.
• The room is a double room.
• The manoeuvring spaces are:
  in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cupboards) 182 cm x 58 cm;
  to the left of the bed 86 cm x 171 cm;
  to the right of the bed 86 cm x 171 cm.
• The bed is 46 cm high.
• The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
  in front of the washbasin 180 cm x 64 cm;
  in front of the toilet 297 cm x 106 cm;
  to the left of the toilet 16 cm x 63 cm;
  to the right of the toilet 63 cm x 54 cm.
• There are grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
• The right grab rail can be flipped-up. 
• The washbasin is accessible from underneath at a height of 67 cm and a depth of at least 30 cm.
• The mirror can be viewed while sitting or standing.
• The shower is accessible without steps. A threshold of 1 cm is provided. 
• The shower area is 99 cm x 190 cm.
• Grab rails are provided in the shower.
• A shower seat is available or can be provided if required (fixed, folding, hook-in or mobile and stable).

Haus Lilie - Room 61 with shower / toilet, ground floor

• Doors are at least 66 cm wide.
• Door thresholds are a maximum of 3 cm high.
• The room is a single room.
• The manoeuvring spaces are:
  in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cupboards) 120 cm x 283 cm;
  81 cm x 170 cm to the left of the bed;
  there is no manoeuvring space to the right of the bed.
• The bed is 46 cm high.
• The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
  in front of the washbasin 310 cm x 110 cm;
  in front of the toilet 310 cm x 45 cm;
  to the left of the toilet 29 cm x 46 cm;
  to the right of the toilet 23 cm x 56 cm.
• There are no grab rails at the toilet.
• The washbasin is accessible from underneath at a height of 67 cm and a depth of less than 30 cm.
• The mirror can be seen while sitting or standing.
• The shower is accessible without steps. 
• The shower surface is 97 cm x 120 cm.

Public toilet for people with disabilities (main building Gasthof Sixt, ground floor).

• The manoeuvring spaces are:
  in front of the washbasin 355 cm x 103 cm;
  in front of the toilet 163 cm x 100 cm;
  to the left of the toilet 93 cm x 70 cm;
  to the right of the toilet 9 cm x 70 cm.
• There are grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
• The left grab rail can be folded up.
• The washbasin is accessible from underneath at a height of 67 cm and a depth of less than 30 cm.
• The mirror can be viewed while sitting or standing.

• Assistance dogs are not allowed.
• The main entrances to the inn "Sixt" and the house "Lilie" are visually rich in contrast and can be recognized by a tactile change of floor covering.
• Glass doors are not marked with safety markings.
• There are no obstacles, e.g. objects protruding into the path/room.
• Operating elements can be detected tactilely everywhere and are predominantly designed high in contrast.
• Paths in corridors are almost everywhere rich in contrast and marked with tactile markings or the walls can be used for orientation.
• The evaluated rooms and corridors usable by the guest are brightly lit and glare-free.
• Stairs have handrails. The step surfaces are not rich in contrast.
• There is no information in Braille or prismatic writing.
• The menu is designed in plain, high-contrast font, but is not available in Braille or large print.
• Aids offered: reading aids (reading glasses, magnifying glasses, etc.)

• In the case of an acoustic alarm, there is no visually perceptible flashing light or flashing signal.
• There is no audio induction loop.
• In the evaluated rooms there is at least one freely available outlet near the bed.
• The ringing at the room doors is not indicated by a flashing signal.
• WiFi is available for communication.
• There are tables with bright and glare-free lighting in the public room and in the hall, where there are no lamps standing or hanging that restrict the field of vision. There are seating areas with low background noises.
• Information is provided in written form.

• Name and logo of the company are clearly recognizable from the outside at the entrances to the inn and to house "Lilie".
• A business card with address and telephone number of the hotel is visibly displayed at the reception and in the room.
• The bedroom and the room key/room card are marked with the same pictorial symbol.
• There is no menu with pictures. The dishes are not presented visibly.
• Information for orientation is partly displayed in photorealistic representation or in the form of pictograms.
• There is no colored or pictorial guidance system.
• The destination of the path is within sight or there is an uninterrupted guidance system.
