Hotel Schweizer Hof

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities".  

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

• A parking space for people with disabilities is available.
• The Bad Füssinger Hof bus stop is located 125 meters away. 
• All guest-accessible rooms and facilities are either step-free/at ground level or accessible via elevators.
• All doors, passageways, and pathways accessible to guests are at least 70 cm wide. Exceptions include certain passageways in the sauna.
• The reception desk is 114 cm high. An alternative, equivalent means of communication while seated is available. 
• There are no accessible rooms available.
• The toilet in the room is not accessible from the side (minimum 80 cm). There are no grab bars.  
• The sink is wheelchair compatible, and the mirror is visible even when seated.
• Access to the shower is threshold-free. A shower chair is available (Room 503).
• The restaurant has tables that are a maximum of 80 cm high and wheelchair compatible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm.
• A wellness area is available. This was noted but not included in the evaluation.
• There is no public restroom for people with disabilities.

• Service dogs are welcome, with the exception of the restaurant and the garden.
• The entrance area is designed with high visual contrast.
• Signage (for wayfinding) is designed with clearly legible, high-contrast lettering.
• All elevated areas accessible to guests are illuminated with bright, glare-free lighting.
• An emergency call made in the elevator is confirmed by an audible signal.
• Some stairs have visually high-contrast edges on the first and last steps.
• Stairs have at least a handrail on one side. 
• The font on the menu is simple and designed with high visual contrast.
• Information is not available in Braille or raised lettering.

• In the event of an audible alarm, there is no additional visual flashing signal.
• There is no audio induction loop system available.
• Wi-Fi is available.
• In the rooms surveyed, there is at least one freely accessible electrical outlet near the bed. 
• An emergency call made from the elevator is confirmed only by an audible signal. Stairs are available as an alternative. 
• The restaurant features tables with bright, glare-free lighting, with no lamps standing or hanging above them that obstruct the field of vision or eye contact.
