Hotel Restaurant "Anders"

Description

Dear guests,

in the middle of the countryside, directly on the Jakobsweg, our Hotel Restaurant Anders is located only a few kilometres from the Nuremberg Trade Fair. You can reach us both by public transport and comfortably by car. Free parking spaces are available for you. Next to our hotel there are two charging stations for e-cars.

Our chef and his crew will be happy to spoil you with changing exquisite dishes of Franconian and international cuisine. Enjoy the peace and quiet - whether in the restaurant or beer garden.

Our cosy rooms, some with balcony, are equipped with all modern comforts such as free WLAN and flatscreen TV with cable reception. On request, your four-legged friends are also welcome to accompany you. All areas of our hotel and restaurant Anders are barrier-free accessible. In addition, we offer some wheelchair-accessible rooms.

Your physical well-being is also well taken care of during your events and conferences in our three conference rooms of different sizes.

  • There is a general car park. There are two marked parking spaces for people with disabilities (parking space size: 357 cm x 257 cm).
  • The path from the car park to the hotel entrance is 80 m long. 
  • The bus stop Hospiz is 60 m away.
  • The building is steplessly accessible.
  • All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are steplessly accessible at ground level or via an elevator.
  • The elevator cabin measures 129 cm x 207 cm. 
  • The reception desk is 120 cm high.
  • Almost all evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide.
    Exception: The door to the public WC for people with disabilities is 82 cm wide, the door to the lounge 81 cm wide.
  • There are wheelchair accessible tables available in the restaurant (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm). 

Barrier-free designed rooms 48 and 49 (double room identical in construction, basement)

  • The maneuvering spaces are:
    in front of essential immobile furnishings and left and right of the bed at least  150 cm x 150 cm.
  • The bed is 60 cm heigh.
  • The maneuvering spaces in the bathroom are:
    in front of the toilet and the washbasin at least 150 cm x 150 cm;
    left and right to the toilet at least 46 cm x 70 cm. 
  • There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rails can be flipped-up.
  • The sink is wheelchair compatible.
  • The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • The shower is accessible without thresholds.
  • The manoeuvring space in the shower is 118 cm x 117 cm.
  • A shower seat is available or can be provided if required.
  • There are no grab rails available in the shower.
  • An alarm trigger is not available. 

Barrier-free designed room 50 (double room, basement)

  • The maneuvering spaces are:
    in front of essential immobile furnishings and left and right of the bed at least  150 cm x 150 cm.
  • The bed is 60 cm heigh.
  • The maneuvering spaces in the bathroom are:
    in front of the toilet and the washbasin at least 150 cm x 150 cm;
    left to the toilet 65 cm x 75 cm, right to the toilet 47 cm x 75 cm. 
  • There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rails can be flipped-up.
  • The sink is wheelchair compatible.
  • The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • The shower is accessible without thresholds.
  • The manoeuvring space in the shower is 118 cm x 117 cm.
  • A shower seat is available or can be provided if required.
  • There are no grab rails available in the shower.
  • An alarm trigger is not available. 

Public toilet for people with disabilities

  • The door is 82 cm wide and opens to the side (space-saving door, sliding door).
  • In the toilet the maneuvering spaces are:
    in front of the toilet and the washbasin 180 cm x 98 cm;
    left to the toilet 30 cm x 70 cm, right 60 cm x 70 cm.
  • There are handles on both sides of the toilet, the right handle can be folded up.
  • The sink is wheelchair compatible.
  • The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • An alarm trigger is not available.

  • The main entrance is visually rich in contrast, but cannot be recognized by a tactile change of floor covering.
  • All evaluated and usable areas for the guest are well illuminated, i.e. bright and glare-free.

  • The signage is not designed in clearly legible and contrasting font.
  • There are glass doors without safety markings.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly.
  • The break position is not announced by spoken commands.
  • The operating controls are visually rich in contrast and tactilely detectable.
  • Alternatively stairs are available.
  • Steps are not visually rich in contrast.
  • Stairs have at least a handrail on one side.
  • The menu font in the restaurant is straightforward and visually rich in contrast.
  • There is no menu available in large print or braille.
  • Information is not available in Braille or prismatic font.

  • There is no audio induction loop.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly.

  • WiFi is available for communication.
