Hotel Restaurant "Anders"

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - accessible for people with walking disabilities".

• There are two parking spaces for people with disabilities. 
• The “Hospiz” bus stop is located 60 meters away.
• All guest-accessible rooms and facilities are either step-free/at ground level or accessible via an elevator. 
• All guest-accessible doors, passageways, and pathways are at least 80 cm wide.
• The reception desk is 120 cm high. There is no other equivalent means of communication while seated. 
• There are three accessible rooms available.
• The toilet in the room is partially accessible from the side (46 cm). There are fold-down grab bars to the left and right of the toilet.  
• The sink is wheelchair compatible, and the mirror is visible even when seated.
• Access to the shower is threshold-free. A grab bar and a shower chair are available.
• The restaurant/breakfast room features tables that are a maximum of 80 cm high and wheelchair compatible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm.
• There is a public restroom for people with disabilities, which is partially accessible from one side (60 cm). A fold-down grab bar is available on the wheelchair compatible side of the toilet.

• Assistance dogs are welcome.
• The entrance area is designed with high visual contrast.
• Signage (for wayfinding) is designed with clearly legible, high-contrast text.
• All elevated areas accessible to guests are illuminated with bright, glare-free lighting.
• An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed by an audible signal.
• Steps do not have high-contrast edges.
• Staircases have at least a one-sided handrail.
• The font on the menu is simple and designed with high visual contrast.
• Information is not available in Braille or raised lettering.

• There is no clearly visible alarm.  
• There is no audio induction loop.
• An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly. 
• Alternatively stairs are available.  
• In the evaluated rooms there is at least one freely available outlet near the bed.
• The ringing at the room doors is not indicated by a flashing signal.
• WiFi is available for communication.
• In the breakfast and dining room there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps that restrict the visual field. There are no seating areas with low background noises.
• Information is provided in written form.

• The name of the hotel is clearly visible from the outside.
• A business card with the address and telephone number of the hotel is visibly displayed at the reception desk.
• There is no menu with pictures in the restaurant. The dishes are not presented visibly.
• Information is not displayed with pictograms or pictures. There is no information in easy language.
• The destination of the path is within sight. There is no uninterrupted guidance system or signs at a visible distance.
