Hotel & Guesthouse Seereich

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users".

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

• There are parking spaces for people with disabilities.  
• All rooms and facilities that can be used and raised for the guest are accessible without steps. Door thresholds are max. 7 cm high. 
• Exterior walkways are at least 180 cm wide. 
• Doors are at least 81 cm wide. 
• Passages in rooms (dining room, bedroom, checkout counter, showroom, etc.) are at least 100 cm wide. 
• The elevator car is 106 cm x 140 cm. The elevator door is 89 cm wide.
• The entrance/access to the building is step-free (max. 2 cm threshold, if necessary via a ramp). (Entrance area)
• The reception desk is 122 cm high at the lowest point. There is another, equivalent communication possibility in sitting position.

Basement: room no. 50 - bedroom

• The room is a double room.
• The movement areas are:
• in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cupboards) 120 cm x 200 cm;
• to the left of the bed 96 cm x 166 cm;
• to the right of the bed 96 cm x 166 cm.
• The bed is 54 cm high.

Bathroom

• The movement areas in the bathroom are:  in front of the sink 178 cm x 153 cm; in front of the WC 200 cm x 200 cm; to the left of the WC 97 cm x 70 cm; to the right of the WC 178 cm x 70 cm.

WC / washbasin

• There are grab rails to the left and right of the WC.
• Both grab rails can be folded up. 
• The washbasin is accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of at least 30 cm.
• The mirror can be viewed while sitting or standing.

Shower

• The shower is accessible without steps. 
• The shower area is 147 cm x 152 cm.
• There are grab bars in the shower.
• A shower seat is available or can be provided if needed.

UG: Public WC

• There is a unisex toilet available.
• The movement areas are: in front of the sink 149 cm x 160 cm; in front of the WC 160 cm x 149 cm; to the left of the WC 88 cm x 70 cm; to the right of the WC 88 cm x 70 cm.
• There are folding grab bars to the left and right of the WC.
• The washbasin is wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of at least 30 cm.
• There is a cord as an alarm trigger.

• An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed acoustically, e.g. by an intercom system.
• The stop position is not announced by voice.
• The control elements are visually contrasting. 
• The entrance area is visually contrasted with the surroundings. 
• All raised areas that can be used by guests are well lit, i.e., bright and glare-free.
• The signage is designed in legible lettering. 
• There is good visual contrast between the lettering/pictogram and the background. 
• There is a unisex WC available.

• There are 18 tables with bright and glare-free lighting.
• There is at least one freely available power outlet near the bed.
• There is no inductive hearing system available at the reception/counter. 
• Assistance dogs (companion dogs, guide dogs for the blind, etc.) may be brought into all relevant areas/rooms of the establishment/counter. 
• W-LAN is offered.
