Hotel Olymp Munich

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities and for wheelchair users". The wellness area was surveyed but not included in the evaluation.

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report. 

• There is a parking lot for people with disabilities.
• The Hotel Olymp bus stop is 120 m away. 
• All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests and are raised are accessible without steps/at ground level or via a ramp or elevator. 
• All doors/passages and paths that can be used by guests and are raised are at least 80 cm wide. Exception: in the wellness area. 
• The reception counter is a maximum of 80 cm high.
• Two barrier-free double rooms are available.
• The WC in these rooms can be accessed from one side (at least 90 cm). There are flip-up grab rails to the left and right of the WC.  
• The washbasin is wheelchair compatible and the mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
• Access to the shower is barrier-free. A grab rail and a shower chair are available.
• There are tables in the restaurants that are max. 80 cm high and wheelchair compatible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm.
• There is a public WC for people with disabilities in Haus Apollo, which can be accessed from one side (at least 90 cm). There are flip-up grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.

• Assistance dogs are welcome.
• The signage (for orientation) is designed in easy-to-read, high-contrast lettering.
• All areas are brightly lit and glare-free.
• Double rooms are available.
• An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed acoustically.
• Stair treads are not visually rich in contrast. Some stairs have a handrail on one side.
• The lettering on the restaurant menus is unadorned and visually rich in contrast.
• Information is not available in Braille or prismatic writing.

• There is no audio induction loop system available. 
• Wi-Fi is available.
• Double rooms are available.
• There is a freely available socket near the bed in the elevated rooms.
• An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is only confirmed acoustically. Alternatively, stairs are available.
