  • There is a designated parking space for people with disabilities.
  • The nearest bus stop, Schäfflerstraße, is 80 meters away. 
  • The building is accessible without steps.
  • Almost all guest-accessible areas and facilities are accessible without steps or via an elevator. Exceptions: The dining room is accessible only via a 4-cm-high threshold.
  • All guest-accessible doors and passageways are at least 80 cm wide.
  • The reception desk is 118 cm high at its lowest point. An alternative, equivalent means of communication while seated is available.
  • Wheelchair compatible tables are available in both the dining room and the breakfast room (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair access at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).
  • There is one barrier-free room (Double Room 17).
  • The toilet in the room is accessible from one side (minimum 90 cm).
  • A flip-up grab bar is available at least on the accessible side of the toilet.
  • The sink is wheelchair compatible, and the mirror is visible even when seated.
  • Access to the shower is threshold-free. A grab bar and a shower chair are provided.
  • There is a public restroom that is accessible without steps and has a door width of at least 70 cm.
  • There is no public restroom designed for people with disabilities.

  • Service dogs are permitted in all relevant areas and rooms.
  • The entrance is designed with high visual contrast.
  • The areas accessible to guests are generally well lit—that is, bright and glare-free.
  • Signage is designed with easily readable, high-contrast lettering.
  • There are glass doors without safety markings at heights of 40–70 cm and 120–160 cm.
  • An emergency call made in the elevator is confirmed by an audible signal.
  • Stair treads are not designed with high visual contrast. Stairs have a handrail on one side.
  • The font on the menu is designed to be simple and high-contrast.
  • Information is not available in braille or raised lettering.

  • There is no audio induction loop system.
  • An emergency call made from the elevator is audible. Alternatively, stairs are available. 
  • In the dining room and breakfast room, there are tables with bright, glare-free lighting; there are no lamps standing or hanging above them that obstruct the field of vision or eye contact.
  • In the surveyed rooms (17), there is at least one freely accessible electrical outlet near the bed. 
  • WiFi is available.
  • A technical means of communication with service staff is provided for deaf guests.
