All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities".

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

• There is one marked parking space for people with disabilities (parking space size: 450 cm x 500 cm).
• The path from the car park to the main entrance is 20 m long. It is easy to walk and drive on.
• The next bus stop 70 m away. The bus usually stops directly in front of the hotel or butcher's shop. 
• The building is steplessly accessible.
• Almost all evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are steplessly accessible or via an elevator. Exception: The guest room is only accessible via a treshold of 4 cm.
• The elevator cabin measures 106 cm x 143 cm.
• All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 80 cm wide.
• The reception desk is 118 cm high. There is another, equivalent communication possibility while in a sitting position.
• There are ten wheelchair accessible tables available in both the guest room and the breakfast room (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).
• There is a public toilet available, which is steplessly accessible and has a door width of at least 70 cm.
• There is no public toilet designed for people with disabilities.

Room 17 (double room, 1 st floor)

• The manoeuvring spaces are:
  in front of essential stationary furnishings (e.g. wardrobe) at least 150 cm x 140 cm;
  left of the bed 64 cm x 173 cm and
  right of the bed 120 cm x 173 cm;
• The bed is 60 cm high.
• The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
  in front of the toilet and the washbasin at least 112 cm x 200 cm;
  left of the toilet 115 cm x 35 cm and
  right of the toilet 30 cm x 48 cm.
• There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rail on the left of the toilet can be flipped-up.
• The sink is wheelchair compatible.
• The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
• The shower is accessible without thresholds.
• The manoeuvring space in the shower is 112 cm x 200 cm.
• A shower seat is available or can be provided if required.
• There are grab rails available in the shower.
• An alarm trigger is not available.

• Assistance dogs are allowed in relevant areas/rooms.
• The entrance is not visually rich in contrast, but recognizable by a tactile change of floor covering.
• The evaluated areas that can be used by the guest are partly well lit, i.e. bright and glare-free.
• The signage is designed in clearly legible and contrasting font.
• There are glass doors without safety markings in height of 40-70 cm and 120-160 cm.
• An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly.
• The operating controls are visually rich in contrast and tactilely detectable.
• Alternatively stairs are available.
• Steps are not visually rich in contrast.
• There is a tactilely detectable contrast between the floor covering and staircases.
• Stairs have a handrail on one side.
• The menu font is straightforward and visually rich in contrast.

• There is no clearly visible alarm.
• There is no audio induction loop system.
• An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly.
• In the guest room as well as in the breakfast room there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact.
• There are tables with low background noises (e.g. corner seating, separate room) in the guest room, but not in the breakfast room.
• WiFi is offered.
• There is a technical possibility for deaf people to communicate with the service personnel.

Room 17 (double room, 1st floor)

• There is at least one electrical outlet available near the bed.
• The ringing or knocking on the door is not indicated by a flashing signal which can be detected in all rooms.

• The objectives of the paths are always within sight or signs in visible distance are available.
• Information for orientation is available with pictorial symbols (pictograms, photorealistic representation).
