Hotel INCLUDiO - Regensburg's first inclusive hotel

A warm welcome! The completely accessible hotel is located in the district of Burgweinting - quiet and yet close to Regensburg's historic old town. A bus stop is directly in front of the hotel, so that you can easily reach the city centre in about 20 minutes. All 84 rooms are air-conditioned and have a telephone, satellite TV, safe and coffee/tea station. The 18 wheelchair-accessible rooms offer a wheelchair-accessible shower, with a folding shower seat on request, support handles on the WC and a washbasin that can be accessed from underneath. The restaurant with winter garden and sun terrace serves a varied breakfast buffet in the morning and a small selection of dishes in the evening. The lobby bar invites you to have a coffee in the afternoon and offers a rich selection of drinks in the evening. In the vitality area there is a fitness room and two saunas with a relaxation lounge. The hotel sees itself as a place of encounter where people with and without disabilities come together normally - whether as guests or as employees.

  • The bus stop "Herrmann-Höcherl-Straße, Burgweinting" is about 20 m from the entrance.
  • Outside, there are three parking spaces for people with disabilities (space size: 350 cm x 505 cm), 18 m from the entrance.
  • In the underground garage there are another four parking spaces for people with disabilities, (parking space size: 360 cm x 520 cm), 20 m from the entrance.
  • The entrance to the building is step-free (max. 2 cm threshold, if necessary via a ramp).
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used and elevated by the guest are accessible without steps or via an elevator. 
  • The elevator cabs are at least 102 cm x 220. Elevator doors are at least 100 cm wide.
  • Passages and doors are almost all at least 89 cm wide with the following exceptions: Bathroom door in room 210 (82 cm), sauna doors (87 cm).
  • The reception counter is 80 cm high at the lowest point. There is a walking aid holder at the reception desk.
  • There is another, equivalent communication option available while seated.
  • In the catering area, wheelchair accessible tables (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm with a depth of 30 cm) are available. 
  • The following aids are provided: Reading aids (reading glasses, magnifying glasses, etc.), height-adjustable nursing bed (in-house), vibration alarm clock, shower/toilet/sauna wheelchair, shower stool, mobile lift, height-adjustable wrap-around bed, defibrator.

Room 209 (double room, comfort plus)

  • Doors are at least 89 cm wide.
  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cabinets) 200 cm x 190 cm;
    to the left of the bed 137 cm x 200 cm;
    to the right of the bed 150 cm x 200 cm.
  • The closet is partially accessible.
  • The bed is 63 cm high.
  • The manoeuvring spaces  in the bathroom are:
    in front of the sink 150 cm x 150 cm;
    in front of the toilet 150 cm x 150 cm;
    to the left of the toilet 142 cm x 55 cm;
    to the right of the toilet 32 cm x 55 cm.
  • There are grab bars to the left and right of the toilet.
  • Both grab rails can be flipped-up.
  • The washbasin is accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of at least 30 cm.

    to the left of the bed 96 cm x 200 cm;
    to the right of the bed 96 cm x 200 cm.
  • The bed is 59 cm high.
  • The closet is partially accessible.
  • The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
    in front of the sink 165 cm x 110 cm;

  • Assistance dogs (companion dogs, guide dogs for the blind, etc.) may be brought into all relevant areas/rooms of the establishment/offer.  
  • The entrance areas are recognizable by a tactilely perceptible change of flooring and visually contrasting to the surroundings. 
  • A visually contrasting and tactilely detectable guidance system (floor indicators) is provided on the ground floor.
  • In the other areas, the walls or other structural elements can be used in part for orientation.
  • On stairs, at least the first and last steps have a visually contrasting edge. Stairs have handrails on both sides. There is tactile information about the floor at the beginning and end of the flights of stairs.
  • There is tactile contrast and visual contrast between the flooring and the stair risers or risers.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is acoustically confirmed, e.g., by an intercom system. The stop position is announced by voice. The operating elements are designed with high visual contrast and are tactilely detectable.

  • There is visually clearly perceptible alarm in the rooms.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed acoustically, e.g. by an intercom system.
  • There are tables with bright and glare-free lighting where there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact. There are tables with low ambient noise.
  • There is at least one freely available electrical outlet near the bed in the rooms.
  • The following aids are offered: including vibrating alarm clocks.
  • W-LAN is offered.
