All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - accessible for people with walking disabilities and partially accessible for wheelchair users".

• There are two designated parking spaces for people with disabilities.  
• The entrance/access to the building is step-free.
• The reception counter is 78 cm high at the lowest point. 
• All areas and rooms are accessible without steps via an elevator.
• The elevator car is 109 cm x 144 cm. The elevator door is 89 cm wide.
• There is another, equivalent means of communication while seated.
• There are 16 accessible tables indoors and 5 on the terrace. 
• There are 8 barrier-free designed rooms.

Room no. 325 - bedroom

• The room is a double room.
• The movement areas are: in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cupboards) 160 cm x 160 cm; to the left of the bed 56 cm x 200 cm; to the right of the bed 196 cm x 200 cm.
• The bed is 63 cm high.

Bathroom

• The movement areas in the bathroom are: in front of the sink 160 cm x 160 cm; in front of the WC 160 cm x 160 cm; to the left of the WC 150 cm x 71 cm; to the right of the WC 29 cm x 71 cm.
• There are grab bars to the left and right of the WC.
• The left grab rail can be folded up. (Yes)
• The washbasin is accessible from underneath at a height of 67 cm and a depth of at least 30 cm.
• The mirror can be viewed while sitting or standing.

Shower

• The shower is accessible without steps. 
• The shower area is 130 cm x 130 cm.
• There are grab bars in the shower.
• There is a shower seat available.

Public WC

• There is a unisex toilet available.
• The movement areas are: in front of the sink 220 cm x 171 cm; in front of the WC 171 cm x 220 cm; to the left of the WC 92 cm x 71 cm;  to the right of the WC 92 cm x 71 cm.
• There are folding grab bars to the left and right of the WC.

• Assistance dogs (companion dogs, guide dogs for the blind, etc.) may be brought into all relevant areas. 
• The entrance area is visually contrasting to the surroundings. 
• An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed acoustically, e.g. by an intercom system.'
• The stop position is announced by voice.
• The operating elements are designed to be visually contrasting and tactilely detectable.
• The following aids are provided: Reading aids (reading glasses, magnifying glasses, etc.).
• The operating elements (e.g. door handles, light switches, emergency call buttons) are tactilely detectable throughout the building/object.
• Signage designed in easy-to-read lettering. 
• There is a good visual contrast between the lettering/pictogram and the background.

• An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed acoustically, e.g. by an intercom system.
• There are sufficient tables with bright and glare-free lighting.
• There is at least one freely available socket near the bed.
• There is at least one freely available electrical outlet near the bed.
• Ringing or knocking at the room door is not indicated by a flashing signal that can be perceived in all rooms. 
• In the event of an acoustic alarm (e.g. fire alarm), there isn´t a flashing or blinking signal that can be clearly perceived visually.
• An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed visually.
• There is no inductive hearing system at the reception desk. 
• The following aids are provided: Reading aids (reading glasses, magnifying glasses, etc.), vibrating alarm clock, deaf case.
• W-LAN is offered.
