All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities".
Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.
- There is a parking space for people with disabilities.
- The “Hauptbahnhof” and “Sendlinger Tor” stops are approx. 500/700 m away.
- All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are step-free/at ground level or accessible via a ramp or elevator. Door thresholds are max. 4.5 cm high.
- There are no slopes of more than 8%.
- All doors/passages and paths that can be used by guests are at least 80 cm wide.
- The reception desk is 110 cm high.
- There are three accessible rooms available. A height-adjustable nursing bed is available.
- The toilet in the room is accessible from one side (at least 80 cm). There is a foldable grab rail on at least the accessible side of the toilet.
- The sink is wheelchair compatible and the mirror is also visible while seated.
- The shower is accessible without a threshold. A grab rail and a shower chair are available.
- The breakfast room has tables that are max. 80 cm high and wheelchair compatible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm.
- There is no public toilet for people with disabilities.
People with visual impairments and blind people
Some information on accessibility are listed below.
- Assistance dogs are welcome.
- The entrance area is designed with high visual contrast.
- The signage (for orientation) is designed in easily legible, high-contrast lettering.
- All elevated areas accessible to guests are brightly lit without glare.
- An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed acoustically.
- Some stairs have visually contrasting edges on the first and last steps.
- Stairs have a handrail on one side.
- Information is not available in relief or Braille.
People with hearing impairments and deaf people
Some information on accessibility are listed below.
- There is no inductive hearing system available.
- An outgoing emergency call in the lift is confirmed acoustically, but not visually.
- Tables with bright and glare-free lighting are available, with no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact.
- There is at least one freely available socket near the bed.
- Ringing or knocking at the room door is not indicated by a flashing signal which can be perceived in all rooms.
- W-LAN is offered.
People with cognitive impairments
Some information on accessibility are listed below.
- The name of the hotel is clearly recognisable from the outside.
- The reception counter is directly visible from the entrance door.
- A business card with the address and telephone number of the hotel is visibly displayed at the reception desk or in the dormitory.
- There is no information available in easy language.
