The Schneider Brewery Inn in the heart of Essing

Hotel & Brewery Inn "Schneider"

Description

The Schneider Brewery Inn in Essing captivates with its very special location: with the Jura rock massif at its back, on the banks of the Altmühl River and at the foot of the old robber baron's castle of Randeck. The heart of the inn is the in-house show brewery in the beer hotel.

The brothers Johannes, the chef, and Matthias, the brewer and hunter, spoil their guests with regional specialties, game from local hunting grounds and beers from the in-house brewery. Sustainability is a top priority here: 99% of all products are sourced from the region around Essing, and food is recycled holistically. Even fine spent grains, a by-product of the brewery, are made into Treberkipferl.

In the show brewery, everyone can not only look over the brewmaster's shoulder, but also become active themselves in individual brewing courses and guided tours.
