  • There is a parking space available for people with disabilities. 
  • The Steingass bus stop is 100 meters away. 
  • All rooms and facilities available to guests are either step-free/at ground level or accessible via an elevator. 
  • All doors, passageways, and pathways available to guests are at least 80 cm wide.
  • There is a lowered reception desk.
  • Three accessible rooms are available.
  • The toilet in the room is accessible from one side (at least 80 cm). Fold-down grab bars are available to the left and right of the toilet.  
  • The sink is wheelchair compatible, and the mirror is visible even while seated.
  • Access to the shower is threshold-free. A grab bar and a shower chair are provided.
  • In the restaurant and breakfast room, there are tables that are no more than 80 cm high and wheelchair compatible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm.
  • There is a public restroom for people with disabilities that is accessible from one side (at least 80 cm). A fold-down grab bar is provided on the accessible side of the toilet.

  • Assistance dogs are not permitted.
  • The entrance area is designed with high visual contrast.
  • The signage (for wayfinding) is designed with easily readable, high-contrast lettering.
  • All elevated areas accessible to guests are illuminated with bright, glare-free lighting.
  • An emergency call made from the elevator is confirmed by an audible signal.
  • Steps do not have high-contrast edges.
  • Staircases have handrails on both sides. 
  • The font on the menu is simple and designed with high visual contrast.
  • Information is not available in raised print or Braille.

  • There is no clearly visible alarm.
  • There is no audio induction loop.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly. Alternatively stairs are available.
  • In the restaurant and breakfast room there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that restrict the field of vision or eye contact. 
  • There is at least one electrical outlet available near the bed.
  • The ringing or knocking on the door is not indicated by a flashing signal which can be perceived in all rooms.
  • WiFi is offered.

  • The name of the hotel is clearly recognizable from the outside.
  • The destinations of the paths are usually within sight.
  • There is no colored or pictorial guidance system.
