All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - accessible for people with walking disabilities and partially accessible for wheelchair users".

• There is a designated parking space for people with disabilities (space size: 422 cm x 550 cm).
• The hotel is accessible without steps.
• All rooms and facilities that can be used and raised for the guest are accessible at ground level or by elevator.
• The elevator car is 112 cm x 230 cm. The elevator door is 90 cm wide.
• All doors/passages usable and elevated by the guest are at least 80 cm wide.
• Exceptions: The sauna door is 65 cm wide.
• The reception desk is 115 cm high at the lowest point.
•  In the restaurant and in the brasserie there are tables that can be moved underneath (maximum height 80 cm, can be moved underneath at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).

Room 245 

• The manoeuvring spaces are as follows:
  in front of essential, fixed furnishings (e.g. cabinet) 150 cm x 150 cm;
  to the left of the bed 200 cm x 200 cm;
  to the right of the bed 80 cm x 200 cm.
• The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
  in front of the toilet 190 cm x 190 cm;
  in front of the washbasin 200 cm x 117 cm;
  to the left and right of the toilet at least 90 cm x 70 cm.
• There are grab rails to the left and right of the toilet. The grab rails to the right of the toilet are flipped-up.
• The washbasin can be lowered to a limited extent. The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting. The shower is accessible without thresholds.
• The manoeuvring spaces in the shower are 150 cm x 150 cm.
• There is a shower seat, grab rails and an alarm in the shower.
• Room 345 is almost identical in construction. 

Public toilet for people with disabilities

• The manoeuvring spaces are:
  in front of the toilet and in front of the sink at least 150 cm x 150 cm;
  to the left of the toilet 90 cm x 72 cm and
  to the right of the toilet 85 cm x 72 cm. 
• There are grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.  Both grab rails can be flipped-up.
• The washbasin can be moved underneath.
• The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
• There is an alarm trigger.

• The entrance is visually rich in contrast and recognizable by a tactile change of floor covering.
• The signage is designed in clearly legible and contrasting font.

• Steps are not visually rich in contrast.
• The menu font in the restaurant is straightforward and visually rich in contrast.
• Information is not available in Braille or prismatic font.

• The alarm is clearly visible in the following rooms: bedroom.
• There is an audio induction loop system at the counter.
• An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly.
• In the restaurant there are 12 tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact.
• There is a seating area with low background noises (e.g. corner seating, separate room).
• There is at least one electrical outlet available near the bed.
• W-LAN is offered.
