Description

Majestic views from King Ludwig II's favorite mountain.

The large cabin lift for 30 passengers takes you to the top station in four minutes. Both stations have ground-level access. Already from here you have a fantastic view over the Walchensee into the mountain world of the Alps. In good weather, you can see the Großglockner, Großvenediger, Zugspitze and the Stubai Glacier, among others. A wide path takes you to the Herzogstand mountain inn in about 10 - 15 minutes. People with GdB 50 or more have discount on all rides. With registered identification letter "B" in the ID, the accompanying person receives free transportation.

  • There are two marked parking spaces for people with disabilities (parking space size: 350 cm x 550 cm).
  • The surface quality of the car park is not easy to walk and drive on.
  • The path from the car park to the main entrance is 12 m long. It is easy to walk and drive on and has a maximum longitudinal gradient of 8 % over a distance of 12 m.
  • The bus stop is 200 m away.
  • The building is steplessly accessible via the main entrance with a ramp.
  • The ramp has a maximum gradient of 13 % and a total length of 3 m.
  • All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are steplessly accessible at ground level or via a ramp.
  • Almost all evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide.
