  • There is one parking space for people with disabilities (parking space size: 350 cm x 500 cm). The surface quality of the car park is easy to walk and drive on.
  • The path from the car park to the entrance is 30 m long. It is easy to walk and drive on.
  • The path from the bus stop Riedlerbrücke to the entrance is 30 m long. It is easy to walk and drive on.
  • The building is steplessly accessible via the side entrance (treshold 2,5 cm). The ramp at the side entrance has a maximum gradient of 8,5% and a total length of 3 m.
  • All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are accessible at ground level or via a ramp. Exception: The main entrance is only accessible via 5 steps.
  • All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide. Exception: The door to the restaurant is 71 cm wide.
  • There are wheelchair accessible tables available in the restaurant-café (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).

Room 8 (double room, ground floor)

  • The guest house is accessible via a door threshold 4 cm high.
  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of essential, fixed furnishings (e.g. wardrobe) 150 cm x 150 cm;
    to the left of the bed 60 cm x 208 cm;
    to the right of the bed 105 cm x 208 cm. 
  • The bed is 60 cm high.
  • The door opens inwards but does not affect the manoeuvring spaces in front of the toilet and sink.
  • The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
    in front of the sink 150 cm x 130 cm;
    in front of the toilet 150 cm x 50 cm;
    to the left of the toilet 28 cm x 58 cm;
    to the right of the toilet 98 cm x 58 cm. 
  • There is a grab rail to the right of the toilet. The grab rail can be folded up.
  • The sink is accessible to a limited extent.
  • The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • The shower is accessible without steps.
  • The manoeuvring spaces in the shower are 82 cm x 98 cm.
  • A shower seat is available or can be provided if required.
  • There are no grab rails in the shower.
  •  There is no alarm trigger (cord, button).

Public toilet for people with disabilities at the Kurhaus/Sparkasse (ground floor).

  • The path from the side entrance to the public toilet for people with disabilities at the Kurhaus/Sparkasse is 180 m long. It is not easy to walk or drive on and has a maximum longitudinal gradient of 4% over a distance of 10 m.
  • The toilet door can be opened with a Euro key.
  • The door opens inwards but does not affect the manoeuvring spaces in front of the toilet and sink.
  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of the toilet 148 cm x 168 cm;
    in front of the sink 150 cm x 100 cm;
    95 cm x 54 cm to the left of the toilet, there are no manoeuvring spaces to the right.
  • There are grab rails to the left and right of the toilet. The grab rail to the left of the toilet can be flipped-up.
  • The sink is accessible to a limited extent.
  • The mirror cannot be seen from a seated position.
  • There is an alarm trigger (cord, button).

  • Assistance dogs are allowed in relevant areas/rooms.
  • External paths do not have visually contrasting or tactilely detectable sidewalk boundaries.
  • The main entrance is visually rich in contrast and recognizable by a tactile change of floor covering.
  • All evaluated and usable areas for the guest are well illuminated, i.e. bright and glare-free.
  • There are no visually contrasting or tactilely detectable floor indicators available.
  • The walkways in corridors/ways/aisles are predominantly visually contrasted to the surroundings.
  • The walkways in corridors/paths/aisles are predominantly marked with tactile markings or the walls or other structural elements can mainly be used for orientation.
  • There are no obstacles, e.g. objects protruding into the path/room.
  • There are no revolving or rotating doors.
  • Glass doors are predominantly marked with safety markings.
  • Steps are not visually rich in contrast. Stairs have handrails on both sides.
  • The menu font in the restaurant-café is not straightforward and visually rich in contrast. There is no menu available in large print or braille.
  • Information is not available in Braille or prismatic font.

  • There is no clearly visible alarm.
  • There is no audio induction loop system.
  • In the restaurant-café there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact. There is a seating area with low background noises (e.g. corner seating, separate room).

Room 8 (double room)

  • There is at least one electrical outlet available near the bed.
  • The ringing or knocking on the door is not indicated by a flashing signal which can be detected in all rooms.
  • W-LAN is offered.
