All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users".

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

• There are two marked parking spaces for people with disabilities (parking space size: 350 cm x 550 cm).
• The bus stop is 200 m away.
• The building is steplessly accessible via the main entrance.
• Almost all evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are steplessly accessible.
• Exception: The Sauna at basement level is/are only accessible via a treshold of 1 cm. Guest use the outside entrance via the courtyard. Indoor access via stairs with 16 steps.
• All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide.
• The dining table is wheelchair compatible (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).
• The kitchen counter, the sink and the stove are not wheelchair compatible.
• The tables at the barbecue area are wheelchair compatible (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).
• The path from the car park to the barbecue area is 30m long. It is easy to walk and drive on and has a maximum longitudinal gradient of 8 % over a distance of 10 m.

Apartment Reineke Fuchs

• The manoeuvring spaces in front of essential stationary furnishings (e.g. wardrobe) and left and right of the bed are at least 150 cm x 150 cm.
• The bed is 45 cm high.
• The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
  in front of/behind the door at least 150 cm x 140 cm;
  in front of the toilet 150 cm x 140 cm;
  in front of the washbasin 150 cm x 150 cm;
  left of the toilet 40 cm x 53 cm and right of the toilet 160 cm x 53 cm.
• There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rail on the right of the toilet can be flipped-up.
• The sink is wheelchair compatible.
• The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
• The shower is accessible without thresholds.
• The manoeuvring space in the shower is 110 cm x 150 cm.
• A shower seat is available or can be provided if required.
• There are grab rails available in the shower.
• An alarm trigger is not available.

Apartment Kater Murner

• The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
  in front of/behind the door as well as in front of the toilet 150 cm x 140 cm;
  in front of the washbasin 150 cm x 150 cm;
  left of the toilet 160 cm x 53 cm and right of the toilet 40 cm x 53 cm.
• The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom alternate with the holiday apartment Reineke Fuchs. Both apartments are built inversely.
• There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rail on the right of the toilet can be flipped-up.
• The sink is wheelchair compatible.
• The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
• The shower is accessible without thresholds.
• The manoeuvring space in the shower is 110 cm x 150 cm.

• The entrance to the guesthouse is visually rich in contrast and recognizable by a tactile change of floor covering.
• All evaluated and usable areas for the guest are well illuminated, i.e. bright and glare-free.
• The signage is designed in clearly legible and contrasting font.
• There are glass doors without safety markings at a heights of 40-70 cm and 120-160 cm.
• Steps (to basement – sauna) are not visually rich in contrast.
• Stairs have a handrail on one side.
• Information for orientation is not available in Braille or prismatic font.
