Tourist-Information

Description

The small market town lies between Lake Constance and Kempten in the Allgäu. In summer, hiking trails at three altitudes, four premium hiking trails and varied bike paths invite you to take part in sporting activities. In winter, four ski areas, 12 cross-country trails and over 95 kilometers of winter hiking trails promise pure winter happiness.

Over 300 hosts enable their guests to take advantage of “Oberstaufen PLUS”. In addition to the use of the three mountain railways, the Aquaria adventure pool with a new sauna world and e-bike rental, this includes other free services. With “Oberstaufen PLUS GOLF” golfers can tee off on five panorama golf courses in and around Oberstaufen free of charge.

As Germany's only Schroth spa, Oberstaufen is also home to the Schroth cure. The naturopathic treatment activates the immune system and self-healing powers, stimulates the metabolism and promotes performance.

Over 60 shops promise fun shopping tours. And culinary connoisseurs will get their money's worth in the numerous restaurants, cafés and Alps. That makes Oberstaufen a versatile and varied excursion destination in the Allgäu.
