All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users".

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report. 

• There is a local transport stop (bus stop "Neubau") 100 m away.  
• There are two parking spaces for people with disabilities. One parking space is at least 350 cm wide and 500 cm long. 
• The parking space is 10 m from the entrance.
• The entrance area is accessible via a threshold with a height of 4 cm.
• All rooms and facilities that can be used and raised for the guest are accessible without steps. 
• The lift car is 108 cm x 140 cm. The lift door is 90 cm wide.
• Passages and doors are at least 88 cm wide. 
• The reception counter is 99 cm high at the lowest point. There is another, equivalent communication option available in a seated position.
• In the catering area, wheelchair accessible tables are available (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm with a depth of 30 cm). 
• The (dining) table is wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm with a depth of 30 cm.

Apartment 35

• The manoeuvring spaces are:
  in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cupboards) 200 cm x 200 cm;
  to the left of the bed 100 cm x 165 cm;
  to the right of the bed 150 cm x 165 cm.
• The bed is 53 cm high.
• The (dining) table can be moved under at a height of 67 cm with a depth of 30 cm. (Yes)
• The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are  
  in front of the washbasin 200 cm x 160 cm;
  in front of the toilet 180 cm x 138 cm;
  to the left of the toilet 90 cm x 69 cm;
  to the right of the toilet 14 cm x 69 cm.
• There are grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
• Both grab rails can be folded up. 
• The washbasin is accessible from underneath at a height of 67 cm and a depth of at least 30 cm.
• The mirror can be viewed while sitting or standing.
• The shower is accessible without steps. 
• The shower area is 109 cm x 109 cm.
• Grab rails are provided in the shower.
• A shower seat is available or can be provided if required (fixed, folding, hook-in or mobile and stable).

Room 33 and 37

• The manoeuvring spaces are

  to the right of the bed 80 cm x 168 cm.
• The bed is 53 cm high.
• The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:

  in front of the toilet 200 cm x 143 cm;
  to the left of the toilet 90 cm x 69 cm;
  to the right of the toilet 15 cm x 69 cm.
• There are grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
• Both grab rails can be folded up. 
• The washbasin is accessible from underneath at a height of 67 cm and a depth of at least 30 cm.
• The mirror can be viewed while sitting or standing.

Toilet for people with disabilities

  to the right of the toilet 85 cm x 68 cm.
• There are grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
• Both grab rails can be folded up.
• The washbasin is accessible from underneath at a height of 67 cm and a depth of at least 30 cm.
• There is a cord as an alarm trigger.

• There is no guidance system with floor indicators in the exterior and interior areas.
• The entrance area is visually and tactilely contrasting to the surroundings.
• Stairs are not visually or tactilely contrasting.
• In the lift, the stopping position is not announced by speech.
• Assistance dogs may be brought along.
• There are glass doors without safety markings.
• Operating elements (e.g. door handles, light switches, sockets, emergency call buttons) are usually not designed with visual contrast.
• There is no information in Braille or prismatic writing.

• There is no inductive hearing system
• In the event of an acoustic alarm (e.g. fire alarm), there is no visually clearly perceptible flashing or blinking signal.
• Knocking on the room door is not indicated by a visual signal.
• In the lift, an outgoing emergency call is not confirmed visually.
• In rooms 35 and 37, there is at least one free power socket near the bed.

Guest room

• There are tables with bright and glare-free lighting.
• There are tables where there are no lamps or hanging lamps that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact.
• There are no tables with low ambient noise.
