In the hotel "Gasthof Posthalter" you will feel comfortable right away. The spacious and bright rooms are all equipped with shower/WC, flat screen TV, WLAN, safe, hairdryer and telephone. All rooms can be booked with breakfast or half board. Very central location in the center of Zwiesel. Modern rooms with all comforts, very easy to get to and free parking behind the hotel.

In the associated restaurant with terrace there is the possibility to take the breakfast and at will the half board.

Of course there is also a barrier-free room available for the guests, approx. 36,40 sqm, for 1 - 2 persons with spacious living area with seating, safe, telephone, TV, very large barrier-free bathroom with emergency bell in the bathroom and next to the double bed. Spacious entrance area with wardrobe and cupboard.

  • There is one marked parking spaces for people with disabilities (parking space size: 307 cm x 500 cm).
  • The path from the car park to the entrance is 20 m long. It is easy to walk and drive on and has a maximum longitudinal gradient of 11 % over a distance of 15 m.
  • The building is steplessly accessible.
  • All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are steplessly accessible via an elevator.
  • The elevator cabin measures 105 cm x 143 cm. The elevator door is 90 cm wide.
  • All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide.
  • The reception desk is 92 cm high at its lowest point. There is another, equivalent communication possibility while in a sitting position.
  • There are wheelchair accessible tables in the restaurant (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).

  • The maneuvering spaces are:
    • in front of essential immobile furnishings (e.g. wardrobe) 200 cm x 200 cm;
    • left of the bed 72 cm x 160 cm;
    • right of the bed 255 cm x 160 cm.
  • The bed is 52 cm high.
  • A nursing bed cannot be provided.
  • The maneuvering spaces in the bathroom are:
    • in front of/behind the door, in front of the toilet and the washbasin at least 150 cm x 150 cm;
    • left and right of the toilet at least 90 cm x 70 cm.
  • There are handles which can be folded up on the right and left of the toilet.
  • The washbasin is wheelchair accessible.
  • The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • The shower is accessible without thresholds.
  • The maneuvering space in the shower is 148 cm x 148 cm.
  • A shower seat is available or can be provided if required.
  • An alarm trigger is present.

Public toilet for people with disabilities (1st floor)

  • The maneuvering spaces are:
    • in front of/behind the door, in front of the toilet and the washbasin at least 142 cm x 172 cm;
    • left and right of the toilet at least 90 cm x 70 cm.
  • There are handles which can be folded up on the right and left of the toilet.
  • The washbasin is wheelchair accessible.
  • The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • An alarm trigger is present.

  • There are glass doors without safety markings.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly.
  • The stopping position is not announced by spoken commands.
  • The operating controls are visually rich in contrast and tactilely detectable.
  • Alternatively stairs are available.
  • Steps are not visually rich in contrast.
  • Stairs have at least a handrail on one side.
  • The menu font in the restaurant is straightforward and visually rich in contrast.
  • There is no menu in large print or Braille.
  • Aids offered: reading aids (reading glasses, magnifying glasses, etc.)

  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly.
  • In the restaurant there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that restrict the field of vision or eye contact.
  • There is no seating area with low background noises (e.g. seating corner, separate room).

Room No. 208

  • There is at least one electrical outlet available near the bed.
  • The ringing or knocking on the door is not indicated by a flashing signal which can be perceived in all rooms.
  • WiFi is offered.
