  • Parking spaces are available for people with disabilities.
  • The Schäftlarnstraße/Gasteig HP8 bus stop is 60 m away. 
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests are accessible without steps/at ground level or via a ramp or elevator/lift. 
  • All doors/passages that can be used by guests and are raised are at least 90 cm wide. The distance between the seat and the front row is 50 cm.
  • Exhibits and information are mainly visible from a seated position.
  • The checkout counter is 86 cm high at its lowest point. The checkroom counters are 93 cm high. The other counters are 115 cm high.
  • Seating is available.
  • There are separate spaces for wheelchair users.
  • There are five public toilets for people with disabilities, which can be accessed from both sides (at least 80 cm). There are folding grab rails on the left and right.
  • Guided tours are offered for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users. Advance booking is requested.

  • Assistance dogs are welcome.
  • The signage (for orientation) is designed in easily legible and high-contrast lettering.
  • All elevated areas that can be used by guests are brightly lit and glare-free.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed acoustically.
  • Some stairs have visually contrasting edges on the first and last step. 
  • Stairs have a handrail on at least one side. Exceptions are the steps inside the Isarphilharmonie.
  • The menu font is uncluttered and visually rich in contrast.
  • Information is visually rich in contrast.
  • Information is conveyed acoustically or tactilely (Braille, prismatic lettering).
  • No guided tours are offered for people with visual impairments or blind people.

  • An audio induction system is available in the following rooms. Isarphilharmonie, Hall X, Hall E: Projector 
  • Information is provided in writing.
  • Wi-Fi is available.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is only confirmed acoustically. Alternatively, stairs are available. 
  • Information is provided in writing or in photorealistic form.
  • There are no guided tours for people with hearing impairments and deaf people (in German sign language).
