Guest Information Schliersee

 All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - accessible for people with walking disabilities and partially accessible for wheelchair users". 

 Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

• There are two marked parking spaces for people with disabilities (parking space size: 350 cm x 500 cm).
• The path from the car park to the entrance via the Vital Spa (Vitaltherme) is 20 m long. It is easy to walk and drive on and has a maximum longitudinal gradient of 3.5 % over a distance of 15 m.
• The bus stop at the train station "Schliersee" is 150 m away.
• The building is steplessly accessible via a treshold of 3 cm.
• All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are steplessly accessible at ground level or via an elevator.
• There is an elevator between the entrance level and the guest information. The elevator cabin measures 120 cm x 138 cm. The elevator door is 90 cm wide.
• All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide.
• The counter is 74 cm high at its lowest point. There is another, equivalent communication possibility while in a sitting position.

Public toilet for people with disabilities (central level, guest information)

• The door is 94 cm wide.
• The maneuvering spaces are:
  in front of the toilet 142 cm x 150 cm;
  in front of the washbasin 150 cm x 142 cm;
  left of the toilet 111 cm x 71 cm and right of the toilet 56 cm x 71 cm.
• There are handles on the right and left of the toilet. The handle on the left of the toilet can be folded up.
• The washbasin is wheelchair accessible.
• The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
• An alarm trigger is present.

• Assistance dogs are allowed in relevant areas.
• The outdoor paths/outdoor staircase to the guest information (central level) do not have visually contrasting or tactilely detectable sidewalk boundaries.
• The entrance(s) (via the Vital Spa as well as the outdoor stairs to the central level) are visually rich in contrast and recognizable by a tactile change of floor covering.
• All evaluated areas usable by the guest are well illuminated, i.e. bright and glare-free.
• There is no uninterrupted guidance system with floor indicators.
• The signage is designed in clearly legible and contrasting font.
• An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly.
• The operating controls are not visually rich in contrast, but tactilely detectable.
• Alternatively stairs are available.
• Steps are not visually rich in contrast.
• Stairs have handrails on both sides.
• Aids offered: reading aids (reading glasses, magnifying glasses, etc.)
• There is a barrier-free website, certified according to "sinnoptics" BITV2.
