Bat Sculpture Trail with Forest Playground

Description

The Bat Sculpture Trail is a connecting path between the historic centre of Rinchnach and the popular bat forest playground with bat nature trail on the edge of the village.

Along the way, you can marvel at numerous smaller and larger sculptures on the theme of bats.

The whole bat area was created because the mascot of Rinchnach since 2009 has been the bat "FU", which means bat and luck in China, and because

the resort of Rinchnach wants to draw attention to the special nature and importance of bats.

From time to time, a work of art is added to the Bat Sculpture Trail, so that visitors can always be curious about what new things there are to discover. Part of the trail is a boardwalk with a small nature trail "Life by the stream" and a small stone path leads directly to the Rinchnach, the stream with the same name as the village. On hot days, you can refresh yourself and cool off in the stream bed.

By the way, the municipality of Rinchnach has installed many bat nesting boxes to make it easier for these fascinating mammals to breed in the summer months!
