Apartments Alpenflair

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified -  partially accessible for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users".

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

• A parking space is available for the vacation rental.
• The train station, which also serves as a stop for public buses, is approximately 150 meters from the entrance. 
• All rooms and facilities accessible to guests are either step-free/at ground level or accessible via an elevator.
• All doors, passageways, and pathways accessible to guests are at least 80 cm wide. Exceptions are the restrooms, which are not accessible.
• There are four apartments designed to be accessible. 
• The restroom in the rooms is accessible from one side (at least 80 cm). A foldable grab bar is available on the accessible side of the restroom.
• The sink is wheelchair compatible, and the mirror is visible even when seated.
• Access to the shower is threshold-free. A grab bar and a shower chair are provided.
• The kitchen countertop, sink, and stove are not wheelchair compatible.  
• The dining table is designed to be wheelchair compatible with a maximum height of 80 cm.

• Assistance dogs are welcome.
• The entrance area is designed with high visual contrast.
• Signage (for wayfinding) is designed with clearly legible, high-contrast lettering.
• All elevated areas accessible to guests are illuminated with bright, glare-free lighting.
• An emergency call made in the elevator is confirmed with an audible signal.
• Steps do not have high-contrast edges.
• Staircases have a handrail on one side.
• Information is not available in Braille or raised lettering.

• There is no audio induction loop system.
• There is no visually clearly perceptible alarm.
• An outgoing emergency call in the lift is confirmed acoustically, but not visually. Alternatively, a stairwell is available.
• There is at least one freely available socket near the bed.
• W-LAN is offered.
