Holiday Apartment "Katharina"

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities".

• There is a parking space for people with disabilities (space size:430 cm x 540 cm).
• The parking space is 2 m from the entrance. 
• The holiday flat and all rooms and facilities that can be used and raised for the guest are accessible without steps (door thresholds are max. 0.5 cm high).
• Passages and doors are at least 90 cm wide.
• The (dining) table is accessible at a height of 67 cm with a depth of 30 cm.
• The following aids are provided: Rollator

Bedroom (double room)

• The manoeuvring spaces are:
  in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cupboards) 140 cm x 200 cm;
  to the left of the bed 150 cm x 150 cm;
  to the right of the bed 150 cm x 150 cm.
• The bed is 56 cm high.

Bathroom

• The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
  in front of the washbasin 98 cm x 150 cm;
  in front of the WC 102 cm x 200 cm;
  to the left of the WC 40 cm x 53 cm;
  to the right of the WC 150 cm x 53 cm.
• There are grab rails to the left and right of the WC.
• Both grab rails can be folded up.
• The sink is wheelchair compatible.
• The mirror can be seen while standing and sitting.
• The shower is accessible without steps. 
• The shower area is 115 cm x 150 cm.
• Grab rails are available in the shower.
• A shower seat is available or can be provided if required (permanently installed, foldable, hook-in or mobile and stable).

• Assistance dogs are not allowed.
• The entrance to the building at ground level is visually contrasted with the surroundings and can be recognized by a tactile change of the floor covering.
• There are no revolving or rotating doors.
• Rooms and corridors are brightly lit and glare-free.
• There are no obstacles, e.g. objects protruding into the path/room.
• The operating elements are mainly tactile and are visually rich in contrast almost everywhere.
• Information is available in clearly legible font.
• There is no guidance system with floor indicators in outdoor and indoor areas.

• At least one electrical outlet is available near the bed.
• WIFI access is available.
• Knocking at the room door is not indicated by a flashing signal.
