Description

The vacation home Wimbauer is located on the quiet outskirts of Biburg in the Franconian Jura. On the associated farm there are cows, pigs, chickens.

The vacation home is located in the Franconian Lake District and in the Altmühltal Nature Park. The two regions invite you to many activities in the fields of history, culture and leisure. On the farm itself there is also a lot to discover, because the entire outdoor area is accessible by wheelchair; for example, the cows grazing with their calves in the adjacent pasture. The apartment on the first floor of the cottage is conditionally wheelchair accessible and consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom and a large living / dining area with connection to the terrace. The door widths are 100 cm, the bed height is 55cm. In addition, the shower is equipped with a fixed grab bar and shower seat, the toilet with two fold-up grab bars. The sink, the kitchen countertop, as well as the stove and sink are wheelchair accessible.

    left of the bed 180 cm x 200 cm; right of the bed 135 cm x 200 cm.
  • The bed is wheelchair accessible.
  • The bed is 43 cm high.
  • A nursing bed cannot be provided.

Bathroom

  • The maneuvering spacess in the bathroom are:  
    in front of the sink 200 cm x 155 cm;
    in front of the toilet 200 cm x 155 cm;
    to the left of the toilet 157 cm x 54 cm;
    to the right of the toilet 72 cm x 54 cm.
  • There are grab rails on the left and right side of the toilet.
  • The right grab rail can be flipped-up. 
  • The washbasin is wheelchair accessible.
  • The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • The shower is accessible without thresholds.
  • The maneuvering space in the shower is 150 cm x 150 cm.
  • There are grab rails in the shower.
  • A shower seat is available or can be provided if needed (fixed, folding, hook-in or mobile and stable.
