 The Allgäuhaus is a particularly child-friendly hotel with its own restaurant, house chapel, wellness area, sports and playgrounds.

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report. 

  • There is a parking lot for people with disabilities at the north entrance (400 cm x 500 cm). 
  •  The main entrance is steplessly accessible via ramp with a maximum longitudinal gradient of 8 %.
  • Access to the building and all rooms that can be used by the guest is stepless (by elevator, lift).
  • The elevators are 110 cm x 140 cm in size and have a horizontal control panel. 
  • The lift has a platform size of 100 cm x 170 cm.
  • Doors and passageways are at least 90 cm wide (exception: sauna doors at least 60 cm).
  • The reception counter is 120 cm high. The tables in the dining room can be driven under at a height of 65 cm.
  • The showers in the changing area are at least 150 cm x 150 cm in size.
  • The swimming pools are accessible via flat steps (some with handrails). No aids are available.
  • There is a height-adjustable nursing bed.

Apartments 216, 271

  •  The manoeuvring spaces are:
    left of the bed 110 cm x 200 cm;
    right of the bed 145 cm x 200 cm 
  •  The bed is 54 cm high. 
  • The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
    in front of/behind the door, in front of the toilet and the washbasin at least 150 cm x 150 cm;
    right of the toilet at least 50 cm x 70 cm; left of the toilet 160 cm x 70 cm.

Rooms 213, 214 and 215

  • Single-Bed Rooms.
  • Relevant manoeuvring spaces in the room and at least on one side of the bed are at least 150 cm x 150 cm.
  • Bathroom 213: The manoeuvring spaces at the toilet are 197 cm x 51 cm on the left and 35 cm x 51 cm on the right. On the right there is a grab handle (can be folded up).
  • Bathroom 214: The manoeuvring spaces at the toilet are 200 cm x 51 cm on the left and 34 cm x 51 cm on the right. Folding handholds are available on both sides.
  • Bathroom 215: The manoeuvring spaces  at the toilet are 34 cm x 51 cm on the left and 150 cm x 51 cm on the right. Folding handles are available on both sides.
  • The wash basin is wheelchair compatible and the mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • The shower is steplessly accessible and 144 cm x 144 cm in size.
  • There are handles and a shower chair.
  • In bathrooms 214 and 215 an alarm cord is present.

Public toilet for people with disabilities 

  • There are additional WCs on level 02 and in the wellness area. 
  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of/behind the door, in front of the toilet and the washbasin at least 150 cm x 150 cm;
    left and right of the toilet at least 90 cm x 70 cm. 
  • There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet.  
  • The washbasin is wheelchair compatible and the mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.

  • Assistance dogs may not be brought.
  • The entrance areas north entrance and winter entrance are visually contrasted to the surroundings and can be recognized by a tactile floor covering change.
  • Steps are not visually rich in contrast. Handrails are available.
  • An outgoing emergency call is confirmed audibly in the elevator. The stopping position is not announced by speech.
  • In the wellness area the pelvic edges are visually contrasted to the surroundings. Access to the pools is via flat steps (in the movement pool with handrail).
  • Signs are designed in legible, visually contrasting lettering.
  • There is no information available in Braille or prismatic lettering.

  • There is no inductive hearing system.
  • There are at least one free electrical outlet near the bed.
  • In the elevator an outgoing emergency call is confirmed audibly. Alternatively, stairs are available.
  • There are tables with bright and glare-free lighting.There are tables where there are no lamps standing or hanging on them that disturb the visual field or eye contact.
  • W-LAN is offered.
