Seebach adventure path

Description

On this 1.3 km (one way) trail you walk along the Seebach, a mountain stream that drains Lake Rachel and eventually flows into the Große Ohe. Along the way you can experience a unique forest wilderness created by beavers and bark beetles.

At the bus stop Taferlruck, halfway between the parking lot Diensthüttenstraße and Racheldiensthütte, you come to the circular trail "Hirschgeweih".  The adventure trail is part of the Hirschgeweih circular trail and is not marked separately. The eastern part of this circular trail along the Seebach, 1.3 km long, is barrier-free because this stretch is very flat, the gradients remain below 6%. On the rest of the circular trail there are slopes of more than 10%, so this is not part of the barrier-free nature experience trail. For a barrier-free nature experience, you have to return here to Taferlruck along the same path.

At the Taferlruck bus stop, wooden ramps have been erected for the time being for barrier-free bus use until asphalt bus platforms can be built here at a later date.

From the service hut parking lot continue by bus to the Taferlruck stop. Return the same way. The road to the Racheldiensthütte is not accessible by car during the day from 8:00 to 18:00.
