Adventure Trail Great Felt

Description

On this leisurely tour in the Großer Filz moor, we partly walk on boardwalks through moorland and forest. We follow the tracks of the adder, which is native here. We continue through the Filz Forest, which looks very different from most National Park forests. Bog pines defy the acidic, nutrient-poor soils.  The 1.6 km long circular trail is designed to be barrier-free and mostly flat (longitudinal gradients max. 6%). A barrier-free viewing platform provides a view of the high moor.
