In the heart of Lower Franconia's hills, the Bischof distillery invites you to enjoy a unique sensory experience: fragrant fruits, traditional craftsmanship, and the passion of distiller Franziska Bischof make every visit special. The distillery bar with its panoramic windows is the perfect place to linger, taste, and enjoy. The distillery is designed to be barrier-free: step-free access, wide doors, and wide paths ensure that all guests feel welcome. Whether on a guided tour, at a tasting, or during a relaxed conversation over a glass, everyone can enjoy themselves here.

  • Parking spaces are available, but there are no designated spaces for people with disabilities.
  • The Wartmannsroth - Rathaus bus stop is 500 m away. 
  • All rooms and facilities that are accessible to guests are step-free/at ground level. 
  • All doors/passages and paths that are accessible to guests are at least 90 cm wide.
  • The counter is 107 cm high. An equivalent communication option is available while seated.
  • The guest area has tables that are max. 80 cm high and wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm.
  • There is no public toilet for people with disabilities.   
  • Guided tours are offered for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users. Advance booking is recommended.
  • The entire route of the tour is wheelchair accessible.

  • Assistance dogs are welcome.
  • The signage (for orientation) is designed in easily legible, high-contrast font.
  • All elevated areas accessible to guests are brightly lit without glare.
  • The font used on the menu is simple and visually high-contrast.

  • Guided tours are offered for visually impaired and blind people. Advance booking is recommended.
  • Tactile exhibits are integrated.
