  • The nearest public transport stop is the Schlüsselbergstrasse tram stop, approx. 180 m away.
  • There are six parking spaces for people with disabilities in the underground car park. One parking space is at least 350 cm wide and 500 cm long.
  • The parking space is 10 m from the entrance.
  • The entrance/access to the building is step-free (max. 2 cm threshold). 
  • All rooms and facilities that can be used and raised for the guest are accessible without steps or via a ramp or lift. Door thresholds are max. 2 cm high. 
  • Ramps are at least 256 cm wide and have a maximum longitudinal incline of 6 %.
  • The lift car is 109 cm x 211 cm. The lift door is 90 cm wide.
  • Passages and doors are at least 90 cm wide. 
  • The reception counter is 116 cm high at its lowest point. 
  • The buffet sideboards are 90 cm high at the lowest point. 
  • In the dining lounge there are wheelchair accessible tables (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm with a depth of 30 cm). 

Public toilet for people with disabilities

  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    152 cm x 158 cm in front of the sink;
    in front of the toilet 152 cm x 158 cm;
    to the left of the toilet 109 cm x 70 cm;
    to the right of the toilet 55 cm x 70 cm.
  • There are grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
  • Both grab rails can be flipped-up. 
  • The sink is wheelchair compatible.
  • The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • There is a cord as an alarm trigger.

  • Assistance dogs (companion dogs, guide dogs for the blind, etc.) may be brought into all relevant areas/rooms of the facility/offer. 
  • There are glass doors, some of which do not have safety markings at a height of 40-70 cm and 120-160 cm.
  • The entrance area is recognisable by a tactilely perceptible change of floor covering. 
  • There are no floor indicators. 
  • All raised areas that can be used by the guest (entrance area, cash desk/counter, bedrooms, corridors, hallways) are well lit, i.e. bright and glare-free.
  • The signage is designed in clearly legible lettering. There is good visual contrast between the lettering/pictogram and the background. 
  • An outgoing emergency call in the lift is confirmed acoustically, e.g. by an intercom system. The stopping position is announced by voice. The operating elements and signage are visually contrasting and tactilely detectable.

  • There is no audio induction loop system.
  • There are tables with bright and glare-free lighting in the dining lounge, where there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact.
