  • All rooms and facilities that can be used and raised for the guest are accessible without steps or via a lift.
  • The lift door is 80 cm wide. The lift car is 100 cm x 88 cm.
  • Passages and doors are at least 69 cm wide.
  • The reception counter is 78 cm high at its lowest point. 
  • In the catering area there are accessible tables (maximum height 80 cm, accessible at a height of 67 cm with a depth of 30 cm). 
  • There is no public toilet for people with disabilities.

  • Doors are at least 92 cm wide. Door thresholds are a maximum of 3 cm high.
  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cupboards) 150 cm x 220 cm;
    to the left of the bed 290 cm x 200 cm;
    to the right of the bed 147 cm x 200 cm.
  • The bed is 59 cm high.
  • The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
    in front of the sink 100 cm x 160 cm;
    in front of the toilet 100 cm x 140 cm;
    to the left of the toilet 35 cm x 57 cm;
    to the right of the toilet 33 cm x 57 cm.
  • There are grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
  • Both grab rails can be flipped-up. 
  • The sink is wheelchair compatible.
  • The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • The shower is accessible without steps. There is a threshold of 1 cm. 
  • The shower area is 97 cm x 97 cm.
  • A shower seat is available or can be provided if required (permanently installed, foldable, hook-in or mobile and stable).

  • There are glass doors with no safety markings at a height of 40-70 cm and 120-160 cm.
  • The entrance area is recognisable by a tactilely perceptible change of flooring and visually contrasting with the surroundings. 
  • An outgoing emergency call in the lift is confirmed acoustically, e.g. by an intercom system.
  • There are no floor indicators.
  • All raised areas that can be used by the guest (entrance area, cash desk/counter, bedrooms, corridors, hallways) are well lit, i.e. bright and glare-free.
  • The signage is designed in clearly legible lettering. There is a good visual contrast between the lettering/pictogram and the background.

  • In case of an acoustic alarm (e.g. fire alarm), there is a visually clearly perceptible flashing or blinking signal.
