  • There are four parking spaces for people with disabilities.
  • The Opernhaus subway station is 120 meters away.
  • All rooms and facilities that are accessible to guests are step-free/at ground level or accessible via a ramp or elevator.
  • There are no slopes with a gradient of more than 8.3%.
  • All doors/passages and paths that are accessible to guests are at least 90 cm wide.
  • Most exhibits and information can be viewed while seated.
  • The ticket counter is 120 cm high.
  • Seating is available.
  • There are two public toilets for people with disabilities, which are accessible from one side (at least 80 cm). There are folding grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
  • Guided tours are offered for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users. Advance booking is required.
  • Mobile or fixed seating is available for people with walking disabilities, which can be used during the tour.

  • Assistance dogs are welcome.
  • Signage (for orientation) is designed in easily legible, high-contrast lettering.
  • All elevated areas accessible to guests are brightly lit without glare.
  • Emergency calls made in the elevator are confirmed acoustically.
  • Steps do not have high-contrast edges.
  • Stairs have at least one handrail on one side.
  • Information about the exhibits is visually high-contrast.
  • Information is not available in Braille or prismatic print.
  • There is an audio guide.
  • Guided tours are offered for visually impaired and blind people. Advance booking is required.
  • During the tours, exhibits are integrated for touching.

  • There is no inductive hearing aid available.
  • In the elevator, an outgoing emergency call is confirmed audibly, not visibly.
  • In the exhibition information about the exhibits will be provided in writing. Films are available for information purposes.
  • No guided tours are offered to people with hearing impairment or deaf people.

  • The name of the museum is clearly visible from the outside at the main entrance and in vehicle hall II.
  • The exhibition contains information on the exhibits in photorealistic form.
  • Information for orientation is not available in easy language.
  • The goals of the paths are usually within sight. An uninterrupted guidance system is available in the exhibition rooms.
  • Guided tours are offered for people with cognitive impairments. A reservation is necessary. The contents of the tour are explained in a way that is easy to understand.
