Culinaria in the Waitzinger Cellar

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities  and partially accessible for wheelchair users".

• There is one marked parking space for people with disabilities (parking space size: 290 cm x 500 cm).
• The path from the car park to the entrance is 100 m long. It is partially not easy to walk and drive on and has a maximum longitudinal gradient of 4 % over a distance of 3 m.
• The bus stop "Stadtplatz Miesbach" is 300 m away.
• The building is steplessly accessible.
• All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are steplessly accessible.
• All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide.
• There are wheelchair accessible tables in the restaurant (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).

Public toilet for people with disabilities

• The maneuvering spaces are:
  in front of the sink 194 cm x 150 cm;
  in front of the toilet 200 cm x 120 cm;
  to the left of the toilet 70 cm x 54 cm;
  to the right of the toilet 200 cm x 54 cm.
• There are grab rails which can be flipped-up on the right and left of the toilet.
• The washbasin has limited wheelchair access.
• The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
• An alarm trigger is present.

• Assistance dogs are allowed in relevant areas/rooms.
• The entrances is visually rich in contrast and recognizable by a tactile change of floor covering.
• All evaluated areas usable by the guest are well illuminated, i.e. bright and glare-free.
• There are no visually contrasting or tactilely detectable floor indicators.
• The signage is designed in clearly legible and contrasting font.
• There are glass doors without safety markings.
• The menu font in the restaurant is straightforward and visually rich in contrast.
• There is no menu in large print or Braille.
• Aids offered: reading aids (reading glasses, magnifying glasses, etc.)

• In the restaurant there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that restrict the field of vision or eye contact.

• There is no coloured or pictorial guidance system.
• There is no menu with pictures in the restaurant and the dishes are not presented visibly.
