Description

In the middle of the beautiful hiking and skiing paradise "Sudelfeld" lies the Walleralm at 1412 m. In summer, it is an ideal excursion destination and starting point for numerous activities.  Directly nearby - on the Vogelsang - is the take-off ramp for hang-gliders and paragliders. The Obere Sudelfeld is also a well-known meeting place for model aircraft enthusiasts. From the sun terrace you have a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains.

  • There is a parking space for people with disabilities about 30 m away (space size: 300 cm x 500 cm). To get in and out, you can drive directly in front of the entrance.
  • The path from the car park to the entrance is easy to walk and drive on and has a maximum longitudinal gradient of 8 % over a distance of 10 m.
  • The building is steplessly accessible via a treshold of 3 cm.
  • All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are steplessly accessible at ground level.
  • All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide.

Public toilet for people with disabilities (ground floor)

  • The toilet door can be opened with another key. The key is available at the counter.
  • The door opens inwards, but does not affect the manoeuvring space in front of the toilet and sink.
  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of the toilet and the washbasin 200 cm x 93 cm; left of the toilet 53cm x 56 cm, and right of the toilet 113 cm x 56 cm.
  • There is a grab rail on the left side of the toilet. The grab rail can be flipped-up.
  • The sinks clearance is limited by claddings, cupboards or similar items.
  • The mirror can not be seen while standing or sitting.
  • An alarm trigger is not available.

  • Assistance dogs are allowed in relevant areas/rooms.
  • The entrance is visually rich in contrast, but not recognizable by a tactile change of floor covering.
  • All evaluated and usable areas for the guest are well illuminated, i.e. bright and glare-free.
  • The signage is designed in clearly legible and contrasting font.
  • The menu font is straightforward and visually rich in contrast.

  • In the guest rooms as well as on the terrace there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact.
