Bavarian Forest National Park
Preserving and caring for the natural landscape in the Bavarian Forest National Park is a key focus of Ranger Kristin Biebl’s work. From a young age, she was fascinated by the diverse environments of the park, where mixed forests, rock formations and moorlands alternate. Today, she informs visitors of all ages about the forest and the natural cycle of growth and decay during her tours.
The many facets of the national park, including its geological features, can also be experienced by people with disabilities. With accessible routes, a step-free visitor centre and an easily walkable and wheelchair-accessible treetop path, visitors can comfortably enjoy the beauty of the Bavarian Forest.
Individual, free guided tours for people with physical or cognitive disabilities are also available, in addition to the accessible options in the regular tour programme, upon prior arrangement by phone.
