Engine shed exhibition centre Rosenheim
Description
The Lokschuppen Rosenheim is an exhibition center. On 1.500 m², various cultural-historical, ethnological and natural history exhibitions are conceived.
Every year there is a new exhibition to see, which deals with an exciting and current topic and educates. Some themes of the exhibition have already been Pharaoh (2017) and Dinosaur (2019). The Lokschuppen is distinguished by its comprehensive educational and child-friendly program, which includes many hands-on stations in the exhibition and a play area outside. Furthermore, there is a diverse range of guided tours and workshops for adults and families. The locomotive shed is equipped with an elevator and a stair lift within the exhibition and is therefore designed to be completely accessible. For deaf guests, detailed room and object texts and subtitling of audiovisual media are available. Audio guides in German and English are available for blind or visually impaired visitors.
