• There are two parking spaces for people with disabilities.
• All rooms and facilities available to guests are either step-free/at ground level or accessible via an elevator. 
• All doors, passageways, and pathways available to guests are at least 88 cm wide.
• There is a lowered reception desk.
• There are three accessible rooms.
• The in-room toilet is accessible from one side (at least 80 cm). There are folding grab bars to the left and right of the toilet.  
• The sink is wheelchair compatible, and the mirror is visible while seated.
• Access to the shower is via a 2-cm-high threshold. A grab bar and a shower chair are provided.
• The restaurant features tables that are no more than 80 cm high and wheelchair compatible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm.
• A wellness area is available. This was noted but not included in the evaluation.
• To enter the swimming pool, there are shallow steps with a handrail.
• There are two public restrooms for people with disabilities, both of which are accessible from one side (at least 80 cm). A fold-down grab bar is available on the accessible side of the restroom.

• Assistance dogs are welcome.
• The entrance is designed with high visual contrast and is identifiable by a tactile change in the flooring.
• All elevated areas accessible to guests are illuminated with bright, glare-free lighting.
• Signage is designed with highly legible, high-contrast lettering.
• An emergency call made from the elevator is confirmed by an audible signal. The stop position is not announced verbally. Controls are designed with high visual contrast and are tactile.
• Alternatively, stairs are available. Stairs in the conference terminal have edges with high visual contrast on at least the first and last steps. Most stair treads are not designed with high visual contrast. Each stair tread is illuminated by an LED. Stairs have at least a one-sided handrail.
• The pool edges in the swimming pool (wellness area) are visually contrasting.
• The text on the menu at the Pier 28 restaurant and in the Pfalzgrafensaal breakfast room is in a simple, high-contrast font.
• There is no menu available in large print or Braille.
• Information is not available in raised print or Braille.

• The alarm is clearly visible in the entire building.
• There is no audio induction loop system reception desk. However, a mobile audio induction loop system can be provided on request.
• An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly.
• In the restaurant Pier 28, in the garden as well as in the breakfast room Pfalzgrafensaal there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact.
• There is a seating area with low background noises (e.g. corner seating, separate room) in the indoor restaurants.
• There is at least one electrical outlet available near the bed.
• The ringing or knocking on the door is not indicated by a flashing signal which can be detected in all rooms.
• Wifi is offered.
• There is a technical possibility for deaf people to communicate with the service personnel.
