The Bavarian Forest - the ARBERLAND - is included free of charge.
We offer a real alternative to big city conferences!
Thanks to good transport connections, we can be reached quickly and easily from conurbations such as Munich, Regensburg, Passau or the neighbouring countries of Austria and the Czech Republic. 

Conference rooms
We have 9 conference, seminar and group rooms, all equipped with the latest conference technology. The ARBER conference room is certified according to 'Travel for All'.

We also have 3 IT training rooms with up to 20 computer workstations.

It is not only the ambience that creates a feel-good atmosphere. Culinary the ARBERLAND has a lot to offer. Sustainable, fair and regional is our motto. Your palate will be amazed! 

Conference technology - from beamer to green-screen room
"Extras" are our standard. Our technical equipment is of the highest standard. In our green-screen room you can produce programmes, go live or record for your purposes.

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

  • There are no public transport stops directly at the ARBERLAND Haus. Travellers by train can be picked up and brought from the station.
  • There are three parking spaces for people with disabilities (space size: 230 cm x 480 cm). The parking space is 41 m from the entrance.
  • The building is steplessly accessible via a ramp..
  • All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are steplessly accessible or via a ramp or an elevator.
  • The ramp has a maximum gradient of 3,5 % and a total length of 5,10 m.
  • The elevator cabin measures 145 cm x 245 cm. The elevator door is 139 cm wide.
  • All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide.
  • The reception desk is at its lowest point 70 cm high. There is another, equivalent communication possibility while in a sitting position.
  • There are wheelchair accessible tables available in the restaurant (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).

Public toilet for people with disabilities

  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of/behind the door at least 150 cm x 150 cm;
    in front of the toilet 90 cm x 200 cm;
    in front of the washbasin 200 cm x 145 cm;
    left of the toilet 124 cm x 57 cm and right of the toilet 36 cm x 57 cm.
  • There is a grab rail on the right side of the toilet. The grab rail can be flipped-up.
  • The sink is wheelchair compatible.
  • The mirror is not visible while sitting.
  • An alarm trigger is available.

  • Assistance dogs are allowed in relevant areas/rooms.
  • The entrance is visually rich in contrast and recognizable by a tactile change of floor covering.
  • All all evaluated and usable areas for the guest are well illuminated, i.e. bright and glare-free.
  • There are no visually contrasting or tactilely detectable floor indicators available.
  • The signage is designed in clearly legible and contrasting font.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly.
  • The break position is not announced by spoken commands.
  • The operating controls are not visually rich in contrast but tactilely detectable.
  • Alternatively stairs are available.
  • Steps are not visually rich in contrast.
  • Stairs have handrails on both sides.
  • The menu font in the restaurant is straightforward and visually rich in contrast.
  • There is no menu available in large print or braille.
  • Information is not available in Braille or prismatic font.

  • There is no clearly visible alarm.
  • There is no audio induction loop system.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly.
  • In the restaurant there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact.
  • There is a seating area with low background noises (e.g. corner seating, separate room).
