Arber mountain railway
Description
The Großer Arber - King of the Bavarian Forest - an unforgettable adventure in both summer and winter
At 1,456 meters, the Großer Arber is the highest mountain in the Bavarian Forest with a special flora and fauna.
Whether in winter with its numerous skiing and tobogganing opportunities for young and old or in the summer months with its diverse leisure activities for all ages - the highest mountain in the Bavarian Forest can inspire every generation.
A safe elevator awaits you at the parking lot, transporting you barrier-free to the valley station. There, a side entrance provides comfortable access to the 6-seater gondola lift, which is also suitable for wheelchairs in accordance with the DIN standard thanks to a ramp. Of course, you can count on the assistance of the friendly staff at all times. To ensure particularly safe access, the gondolas stop at the bottom and top stations. There is a panoramic elevator at the mountain station, which gives you a stunning view and takes you to the Eisensteiner Hütte without barriers.
