Alpine Outdoor Pool Bayrischzell

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities".

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

• There are three marked parking spaces for people with disabilities (parking space size: 350 cm x 500 cm).
• The path from the car park to the entrance is 15 m long and has a maximum slope of 6 % over a length of 5 m.
• The building is accessible without steps. 
• All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are steplessly accessible at ground level.
• The path between the ticket office, the entrance area of the warming hall with changing rooms and the sanitary facilities has a maximum gradient of 17% over a length of 10 metres.
• All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 77 cm wide.
• The cash desk is 95 cm high. There is another, equivalent communication possibility while in a sitting position.
• There are mobile swimming pool lifter, flat steps with handrails, a ladder with a handrail, and an elevated pool edge at seat height above the pool perimeter for entering the swimming pool.
• The maneuvering space in the dressing room is 105 cm x 166 cm. There is seating available. 
• There are 15 wheelchair accessible tables at the kiosk (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).

Sanitary Facility (women)

• The maneuvering spaces are: 
  in front of the toilet and the washbasin at least 150 cm x 150 cm; 
  right of the toilet at least 111 cm x 71 cm, no maneuvering space on the left.
• There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rail on the right of the toilet can be flipped-up. 
• The washbasin has limited wheelchair access.
• The mirror cannot be seen while sitting.
• The shower is not steplessly accessible (treshold of 7 cm).
• The maneuvering space in the shower is 99 cm x 88 cm.
• There is no shower seat nor can it be provided if required.
• An alarm trigger is not available. 

Sanitary Facility (men)

• The maneuvering spaces are:
  in front of the toilet and the washbasin at least 150 cm x 150 cm; 
  left and right of the toilet at least 112 cm x 71 cm, no maneuvering space on the right.
• There are handles which can be folded up just on one side of toilet.
• The washbasin has limited wheelchair access.
• The mirror cannot be seen while sitting.
• The shower is not steplessly accessible (treshold of 7 cm).
• The maneuvering space in the shower is 99 cm x 88 cm.
• There is no shower seat nor can it be provided if required.
• An alarm trigger is not available.

• Assistance dogs are not allowed in the establishment.
• Outdoor paths usually do not have visually contrasting or tactilely detectable sidewalk boundaries.
• The entrance is visually rich in contrast and recognizable by a tactile change of floor covering.
• All evaluated and usable areas for the guest are well illuminated, i.e. bright and glare-free.
• There are no visually contrasting or tactilely detectable floor indicators available.  
• The signage is designed in clearly legible and contrasting font.
• Stairs have handrails on both sides.
• The pool edges are visually contrasted.

• There is no audio induction loop at the counter.
• In the kiosk there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that restrict the field of vision or eye contact.
• There is no seating area with low background noises (e.g. corner seating, separate room).

• The destinations of the paths are always within sight or there are signs at a visible distance.
