Alpenfestsaal Lenggries

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities".

• There is a general car park available (approx. 170 m from the entrance).
•  The Alpenfestsaal is located directly by the train station.

Alpenfestsaal Lenggries (ground floor)

• The entrance to the Festsaal is step-free (max. 2 cm threshold, via a ramp).
• The ramp has a maximum gradient of 12%, a total length of 1 m and a width of 120 cm.
• All rooms and facilities that can be used and raised for the guest are accessible without steps or via ramps.
•  The ramp on the way to the Alpine Festival Hall as well as to the toilet has a maximum inclination of 6 %, a total length of 8 m and a width of 138 cm.
• Passages and doors are at least 90 cm wide.
• There are wheelchair accessible tables (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm with a depth of 30 cm). 

Bistro Endstation with terrace (upper floor)

• The entrance to the bistro is possible over a threshold of 4 cm.
• All rooms and facilities that can be used and raised for guests are accessible without steps or via a stair platform lift.
• The platform of the stair platform lift is 79 cm wide and 150 cm deep.
• Doors and passages are at least 90 cm wide, except for the door to the terrace with a passage width of 81 cm.
• There are accessible tables (maximum height 80 cm, accessible at a height of 67 cm with a depth of 30 cm). 

Public toilet for people with disabilities (ground floor)

• The door is 94 cm wide.
• A unisex toilet is available.
• The manoeuvring spaces are:  
  in front of the washbasin 114 cm x 122 cm;
  in front of the toilet 74 cm x 84 cm;
  to the left of the toilet 35 cm x 71 cm;
  to the right of the toilet 114 cm x 71 cm.
• There are grab rails to the left and right of the toilet .
• Both grab rails can be flipped-up. 
• The sink has limited access. 
• The mirror is not visible while sitting. 
•  An alarm trigger is available.

• Assistance dogs are allowed.
• The entrances are recognizable by a tactile change of floor covering. 
• There are stairs and steps without handrails.
• Steps are not visually rich in contrast. 
• There are no visually contrasting or tactilely detectable floor indicators available. 
• The walls or other structural elements can be used for orientation almost everywhere.
• The walkways in corridors are not visually contrasting with the surroundings throughout the building/object.
• Rooms and corridors are brightly lit.
• The signage is not designed in clearly legible and contrasting font.

• There is no audio induction loop.
• In the bistro terminal station and in the Alpine Festival Hall, there are tables with bright and glare-free surroundings where there are no lamps hanging that restrict the field of vision.

• Name and logo of the company are clearly recognisable from the outside.
• There is no menu with pictures, the dishes are not presented visibly.
• The destinations of the routes are within sight.
