The Ebern Tourist Information is located in the lovingly renovated historic Schumacherhaus - accessible from the market square or the Eiswiese parking lot in just 1 minute.

  • There are two marked parking spaces for people with disabilities (parking space size: 425 cm x 430 cm), 100 m away.
  • The train station "Ebern" is 500 m away
  • The building is steplessly accessible.
  • All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are steplessly accessible.
  • All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 87 cm wide.
  • The counter is 75 cm high at its lowest point. There is another, equivalent communication possibility while in a sitting position.

Public toilet for people with disabilities

  • The path between the Tourist Info and the WC is at least 200 cm wide and 12 m long. There is a longitudinal slope of max. 7 % over 4 m. 
  • The maneuvering spaces are
    in front of the washbasin 200 cm x 150 cm;
    in front of the WC 200 cm x 150 cm;
    to the left of the WC 76 cm x 70 cm;
    to the right of the WC 46 cm x 70 cm.
  • There are grab rails on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rail on the left of the toilet can be flipped-up.
  • The washbasin has limited wheelchair access.
  • The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • An alarm trigger is not present.

  • The entrance is visually rich in contrast and recognizable by a tactile change of floor covering.

  • The signage is designed in clearly legible and contrasting font.
