All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities and partially accessible for wheelchair users".

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

  • There is onemarked parking space for people with disabilities (parking space size: 240 cm x 500 cm).
  • The path from the car park to the entrance is 15 m long. It is easy to walk and drive on and has a maximum longitudinal gradient of 8 % over a distance of 10 m.
  • The bus stop "Niederachen - Inzell" is 300 m away.
  • The building is steplessly accessible via
    the main entrance (treshold of 3 cm) and the side entrance (treshold of 2,5 cm ..

  • The manoeuvring spaces in room 1 are:
    in front of essential stationary furnishings (e.g. wardrobe) 81 cm x 200 cm;
    right of the bed 154 cm x 210 cm;
    on the left is the bed on the wall.
  • The manoeuvring spaces in room 2 are:
    in front of essential stationary furnishings (e.g. wardrobe) 160 cm x 200 cm;
    left of the bed 260 cm x 210 cm and
    right of the bed 87 cm x 210 cm.
  • The bed is 51 cm high.
  • The sink and the stove are wheelchair compatible, but the kitchen counter is not wheelchair compatible
  • The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
    in front of/behind the door, in front of the toilet and the washbasin at least 150 cm x 150 cm;
    left of the toilet 104 cm x 61 cm and
    right of the toilet 41 cm x 61 cm
  • There is a grab rail on the right side of the toilet. The grab rail can be flipped-up.
  • The sink has limited access.
  • The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.

Apartment “Taurus“

  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of essential stationary furnishings (e.g. wardrobe) 180 cm x 180 cm;
    left of the bed 280 cm x 210 cm;
    right of the bed 92 cm x 210 cm.
  • The bed is WERT cm high.
  • The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
    in front of/behind the door at least 120 cm x 200 cm;
    in front of the toilet 200 cm x 120 cm;
    in front of the washbasin 200 cm x 200 cm;
    left of the toilet 41 cm x 61 cm and right of the toilet 100 cm x 61 cm.
  • There is a grab rail on the left side of the toilet. The grab rail can be flipped-up.
  • The sink has limited access.
  • The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • The mirror is not visible while sitting.
  • The shower is is steplessly accessible (treshold of 2 cm).
  • The manoeuvring space in the shower is 119 cm x 119 cm.
  • A shower seat is available or can be provided if required.
