The Seehotel Schnöller is located directly on the lake and offers spacious, modern flats and rooms including a fantastic mountain view.

You can relax in the spacious sauna area. And after your sauna session, you can jump directly into the lake.

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

  • There is a parking lot for people with disabilities (parking space size 400 cm x 500 cm), directly at the entrance.
  • The entrance and almost all rooms and facilities that can be used and raised for guests are accessible without steps (door thresholds are max. 2 cm high). The sauna area is accessible only by stairs.
  • Passages and doors are mainly at least 89 cm wide, exceptions: Sauna doors with 60 cm passage width and the bedroom in apartment 2 has a narrowest passage width of 67 cm in front of the wardrobe. 
  • The reception counter is 115 cm high at the lowest point. There is another equivalent communication option available while seated.
  • In the dining room/restaurant, wheelchair accessible tables (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm with a depth of 30 cm) are available. 
  • The following aids are offered: Wheelchair, rollator, height-adjustable nursing bed (from external service provider).

Apartment 1

Bedroom 1 (multi-bed room)

  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cupboards) 147 cm x 200 cm;
    to the left of the bed 168 cm x 300 cm;
    to the right of the bed 75 cm x 300 cm.
  • The bed is 47 cm high.

Bedroom 2 (single room)

  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cupboards) 150 cm x 150 cm;
    to the left of the bed 150 cm x 250 cm;
    to the right of the bed 0 cm x 0 cm.
  • The bed is 47 cm high.

Bathroom

  • The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
    in front of the sink 307 cm x 157 cm;
    in front of the toilet 307 cm x 157 cm;
    to the left of the toilet 36 cm x 70 cm;
    to the right of the toilet 237 cm x 56 cm.
  • There are grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
  • The washbasin is accessible from underneath at a height of 67 cm and a depth of less than 30 cm.
  • The mirror can be viewed while sitting or standing.
  • The shower is accessible without steps.
  • The shower / shower area is 150 cm x 150 cm.
  • There are grab bars in the shower.
  • A shower seat is available or can be provided if needed (fixed, folding, hook-in or mobile and stable).
  • There is an alarm trigger available. 

Kitchen-living room

  • The (dining) table is not accessible from underneath. 
  • The sink and stove are wheelchair accessible, but the sideboard/work surface is not.

Apartment 2

Bedroom (double room)

  • The manoeuvring spaces are
    in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cupboards) 67 cm x 264 cm;
    to the left of the bed 172 cm x 248 cm;
    to the right of the bed 65 cm x 250 cm.
  • The bed is 50 cm high.

Bathroom

  • The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
    in front of the sink 315 cm x 180 cm;
    in front of the toilet 235 cm x 245 cm;
    to the left of the toilet 17 cm x 71 cm;
    to the right of the toilet 167 cm x 71 cm.
  • There are grab rails on the left and right side of the toilet.
  • The right grab rail can be flipped-up. 
  • The washbasin is wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of less than 30 cm.
  • The mirror can be viewed while sitting or standing.
  • The shower is accessible without steps. 
  • The shower / shower area is 150 cm x 150 cm.
  • There are grab bars in the shower.
  • A shower seat is available or can be provided if needed (fixed, folding, hook-in or mobile and stable).
  • There is an alarm trigger available. ('Cord available as an alarm trigger.')

Eat-in kitchen 

  • There is an under-ride dining table (maximum height 80 cm, under-ride at a height of 67 cm with a depth of 30 cm). 
  • Sideboard/work surface, sink and stove are not wheelchair accessible.

Public toilet for people with disabilities

  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of the sink 200 cm x 102 cm;
    in front of the toilet 110 cm x 200 cm;
    to the left of the toilet 100 cm x 55 cm;
    to the right of the toilet 23 cm x 56 cm.
  • There are grab rails to the left and right of the toilet.
  • The left grab rail can be flipped-up. 
  • The washbasin is wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of less than 30 cm.
  • The mirror is visible in sitting and standing position.
  • There is a cord as an alarm trigger.

  • There is a parking space for people with disabilities (space size 400 cm x 500 cm), directly at the entrance.  
  • Assistance dogs (companion dogs, guide dogs for the blind, etc.) may be brought into all relevant areas/rooms of the establishment/offer.
  • The entrance area is recognisable by a tactilely perceptible change of flooring and visually contrasting with the surroundings.  
  • There are no visually contrasting or tactilely detectable floor indicators. 
  • All raised areas that can be used by the guest (entrance area, cash desk/counter, bedrooms, corridors, hallways) are well lit, i.e. bright and glare-free.
  • The stairs to the sauna area are not contrasting in design and have a handrail on one side.
  • In the dining area there is a menu in plain and high-contrast font.
  • The following aids are provided: Reading aids (reading glasses, magnifying glasses, etc.).
  • The signage is designed in easy-to-read lettering. There is good visual contrast between the font/pictogram and the background.

  • There is at least one freely available power socket near the bed in the bedrooms.
  • W-LAN is offered or a technical possibility for deaf people to communicate with the service staff is offered. 'W-LAN is offered.'
  • There are tables in the dining room/restaurant with bright and glare-free lighting, where there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact. There are tables with low ambient noise.
