Nature Trail "Schwarzes Moor"

  • There are two parking spaces for people with disabilities (parking space size: 350 cm x 500 cm).
  • There is a bus stop ("Schwarzes Moor") available (in approx. 300 m distance to the entrance of the nature trail).
  • The path between the car park or bus stop and the entrance is approx. 300 m long and, due to the surface structure, is low-vibration and easy to walk and drive on.
  • On the way from the car park or bus stop to the entrance of the nature trail a road has to be crossed.
  • The nature trail is about 2.6 km long.
  • The path is mainly not low-vibration and not easy to walk and drive on (including an uneven wooden plank path).
  • The largest distance between the elements of the wooden plank path is 2.5 cm.
  • There are no handrails or lateral barriers.
  • There are seats at least 300 m apart.
  • There are no steps on the circular path. However, there are often elevations of up to 2.5 cm between the individual planks along the wooden plank path.
  • The nature trail is at least 110 cm wide.
  • The maximum longitudinal inclination is 5% over a distance of 3 m.
  • There are no sloping areas.
  • There are unsecured embankments.
  • The nature trail is car-free.
  • The nature trail is not designated for cyclists, skaters etc. or riders.
  • On the nature trail, it is not necessary to cross a road travelled by motor vehicles.
  • The path is continuously signposted: wooden signs with red lettering. The signs indicate the exit and the distance to the exit.
  • The observation tower is only accessible via 80 steps. Handrails are available on both sides.
  • Along the way, 23 information boards provide interesting facts about the "Scharzes Moor". The stations are visible, perceptible or recognisable while sitting.
  • The movement area in front of the stations is only 143 cm x 130 cm.
  • Guided tours are offered for people with walking disabilities.

Public WC for people with disabilities at the car park

  • The door is 87 cm wide. The smaller The movement area at the door is 112 cm x 160 cm.
  • The movement area is in
    front of the toilet and the washbasin at least 150 cm x 200 cm;
    58 cm x 68 cm to the left of the WC, 102 cm x 68 cm to the right.
  • The WC is equipped with handles that can be raised on both sides.
  • The washbasin can be driven underneath and the mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
