Limes Thermal Bath Bad Gögging

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - accessible for people with walking disabilities and partially accessible for wheelchair users". 

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

• There are parking spaces for people with disabilities outside (parking space size: 420 cm x 580 cm) and in the underground car park (380 cm x 580 cm).
• Access to the thermal bath is stepless. The evaluated rooms and facilities usable by the guest are steplessly accessible or can be reached via an elevator or ramp, or alternatives are available.
• The elevators have a cabin size of 125 cm x 160 cm.
• Doors and passageways are at least 88 cm wide (exceptions: toilet at the Café-Restaurant: 85 cm).
• The manoeuvring spaces are at least 150 cm x 150 cm (exceptions: Resting room Gallery in the Roman landscape, toilet at the Café-Restaurant, Caldarium as well as changing room in the entrance foyer with at least 120 cm x 120 cm).
• The counter is 121 cm high. 
• In the restaurant/café areas there are wheelchair accessible tables (maximum height 80 cm, accessible at a height of 67 cm with a depth of 30 cm).

Recreation bath

• There is a changing room in the recreation bath with access to the pools for people with disabilities.
• Shower/toilet for people with disabilities:
  • The manoeuvring space to the left and right of the toilet is at least 90 cm x 70 cm, in front of the toilet at least 150 cm x 150 cm.
  • There are grab handles that can be folded up available to the left and right of the toilet.
  • There is a shower at ground level with a manoeuvring space of at least 150 cm x 150 cm. There are handrails and a shower chair.
  • The washbasin is wheelchair compatible. The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
• For access to the swimming pools in the recreation pool (indoor area) there is a person lift, flat steps with handrail, a ladder with handrail as well as an elevated pool edge at seat height above the pool perimeter.
• For access to the outdoor swimming pools, there are flat steps with handrails, a ladder with handrail and an elevated pool edge at seat height above the pool perimeter.

Römer-Sauna area

• The door widths of the saunas are at least 90 cm, the manoeuvring spaces at least 150 cm x 150 cm (exception: Caldarium with a manoeuvring space in front of the lower bench of 160 cm x 93 cm).
• There is no sauna wheelchair available.
• For access to the whirlpool in the Römer Atrium (sauna area) there are flat steps with handrails, an elevated pool edge at seat height above the pool perimeter and a slide with platforms.

Vital center "Terra Vitalis"

• The counter of the medical department at "Terra Vitalis" is 106 cm high.
• Changing room with shower and toilet in the medical department "Terra Vitalis":
  • The manoeuvring space left of the toilet is 105 cm x 57 cm, right 26 cm x 57 cm, in front of the toilet 254 cm x 137 cm.
  • On the right side there is a handle which can be folded up.
  • There is a shower at ground level with a manoeuvring space of at least 150 cm x 145 cm. There are handrails and a shower chair.
  • The washbasin is wheelchair compatible. The mirror can be seen while standing and sitting.
• Shower and toilet at the Spa area ("Terra Vitalis")
  • The manoeuvring space to the left and right of the toilet is at least 90 cm x 70 cm, in front of the toilet at least 150 cm x 150 cm.
  • There are grab handles that can be folded up available to the left and right of the toilet.
  • There is a shower at ground level with a manoeuvring space of at least 150 cm x 150 cm. There are handrails and a shower chair.
  • The washbasin is wheelchair compatible. The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
• For access to the relaxation pool in the "Terra Vitalis" therapy bath, there is a person lift, flat steps with handrails, a ladder with handrail and an elevated pool edge at seat height above the pool perimeter.

• Indoors and outdoors there is no guidance system with floor indicators. Indoors, the walls can be used as orientation guidelines to a limited extent only.
• Not all steps are visually rich in contrast.
• In the elevators, the break position is not announced by spoken commands. An emergency call is confirmed audibly.
• Assistance dogs are allowed.
• Flat steps with handrails are provided for access to the swimming and therapy pools.
• There are glass doors without safety markings.
• Signs are in legible, visually high-contrast font.
• There is no information available in Braille or prismatic writing.

• The alarm (e.g. fire alarm) is not clearly visible in the entire building.
• There is no audio induction loop.
• In the elevator an outgoing emergency call is confirmed audibly, but not visibly. Alternatively, stairs are available.

• There are tables with bright and glare-free lighting at the restaurant/café areas, as well as tables without lamps standing or hanging which restrict the field of vision or eye contact.
