Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report at the end of the text.

  • There is no parking available for people with disabilities.
  • The path between the car park and the entrance is easy to walk on or drive on.
  • The entrance is steplessly accessible via a ramp.
  • The ramp has a maximum longitudinal inclination of 7% and a usable width of 135 cm.
  • All other rooms that can be used and raised by the guest are accessible at ground level or by elevator.
  • The size of the elevator car is 110 cm x 146 cm.
  • Doors and passageways are at least 80 cm wide (exception: public toilet with cabin door widths of 57 cm).
  • The reception counter is 91 cm high at the lowest point and 153 cm high at the highest point. Another, equivalent communication option is available while sitting.
  • There are wheelchair accessible tables in the dining rooms.
  • Aids offered: wheelchair, walker, height-adjustable nursing bed (from external service provider), shower stool, toilet seats

Room 331 (3rd floor, double room)

  • The manoeuvring spaces in the bedroom are at least 102 cm x 200 cm in front of essential immobile furnishings, 70 cm x 200 cm to the left of the bed and 150 cm x 200 cm to the right.
  • The height of the bed is 57 cm.
  • The manoeuvring spaces next to the toilet are as follows:
    • in front of toilet and washbasin at least 150 cm x 150 cm and
    • left of toilet 50 cm x 53 cm, right 26 cm x 53 cm.
  • There is a fixed handle on the right side of the toilet.
  • The height of the upper edge of the shower tray to the adjacent floor area is 5 cm.
  • The shower is 88 cm x 109 cm in size.
  • A shower chair and handholds in the shower are available.
  • The washbasin has limited access.
  • The mirror cannot be seen while sitting.

Room 509 (ground floor, double room)

  • The manoeuvring spaces in the bedroom are at least 157 cm x 200 cm in front of essential immobile furnishings, 157 cm x 200 cm to the left of the bed, 67 cm x 200 cm to the right.
  • The height of the bed is 57 cm.
  • The manoeuvring spaces next to the toilet are as follows:
    • in front of toilet 55 cm x 200 cm and in front of sink at least 114 cm x 200 cm;
    • left of toilet 23 cm x 53 cm, right 60 cm x 53 cm.
  • There is a fixed handle on the left side of the toilet.
  • The shower is steplessly accessible and 119 cm x 98 cm in size.
  • A shower chair and handholds in the shower are available.
  • The washbasin chas limited access.
  • The mirror cannot be seen while sitting.

  • Assistance dogs are allowed.
  • The entrance is visually contrasted to the surroundings, but not recognizable by a tactile change of floor covering.
  • There are no high-contrast step surfaces available.
  • There is no uninterrupted guidance system (e.g. ground indicators) in indoor and outdoor areas.
  • Rooms and corridors are predominantly brightly lit and glare-free.
  • An outgoing emergency call is confirmed audibly in the elevator. The break position is not announced by speech. The operating elements are tactilely detectable.
  • There is no menu available in Braille or on a barrier-free website.

  • There is no visual alarm.
  • An audio induction loop is not available.
  • In the elevator, an outgoing emergency call is not confirmed visibly.
  • In the rooms surveyed (331 and 509), free WLAN access is available. At least one electrical outlet is available near the bed.
  • Call waiting at the room door is not indicated by a flashing signal.
  • There are tables with bright and glare-free lighting in the dining room, where there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact.
  • There are seating areas with low background noises (e.g. corner seating, separate room).

  • The name or logo of the facility is clearly recognizable from the outside.
  • Business cards/brochures with the address and telephone number of the host are available at the reception desk.
  • There is no information in Easy Language. Information is not displayed with pictograms or images.
  • There is no coloured or pictorial guidance system available.
  • There is no menu with pictures of the dishes available. The dishes are not presented visibly (buffet, counter)
